Game is at OSU. Last regular season game. OSU will have more to play for than Wisconsin. Not sure OSU will win game, but it will be competitive IMO. Although down big to UNC and UL..OSU was able to compete when it was all said and done. No reason to believe they can't do the same vs Wisconsin. Of course, having Loving, or not, is big.

Didn't say they wouldn't have anything to play for. Just stating OSU will have more on the line. Do you disagree?

Kind of, yes. Both teams will be safely in the NCAAs. What makes OSUs quest for an 8 seed any more significant than Wisconsin's quest for a 1 seed??

Unless OSU shits the bed the rest of the way, that is.

If Loving doesn't return, this could happen. OSU has 8 games remaining. I am hoping for 4-4 finish. If Loving doesn't return, could be worse. If he does, maybe a game better. They could easily be a bubble team by time Wisconsin game rolls around. Wisconsin will have big ten wrapped up and at worst, probably a high #2 seed, low #1(no difference really). OSU home game as well. No question OSU will have more to play for IMO. Even from just a confidence stand point heading into B1G tourn.

Indiana made 19 threes tonight. A school record and record for a B1G game.

Kudos to Northwestern. Chris Collins' Wildcats broke a 10 game losing streak with an OT victory over Iowa.NW has suffered through some bad beats and it looked like it might happen again when Iowa's Utoff hit an off balance 3 to send the game to OT.This time NW survived.

NW's freshman PG, Bryant McIntosh led the Wildcats with 18 points. This kid is going to be an elite player in the coming years.

After watching a bit of the Iowa-Rutgers games last night, I have to think this year's most inexplicable loss has to be Wisconsin's loss to Rutgers. I don't care that Kaminsky didn't play and Jackson got hurt during the game, lord, Rutgers is just comically bad. They looked like clowns out there last night.

Yeah, after the Bucks, we were watching Rutgers trying to play yesterday against Indiana. Even when it was close early on, we were laughing about how it would definitely be a 25-30 point game. They are just soooo bad. Funny thing is that right after beating Wisconsin, they led Maryland for 30-35 minutes and barely lost.

Lunardi and Palm Bracketology currently have 8 B1G teams in NCAA. More than any other conference.

Indiana had 10 turnovers at the half...and led by 10 on the road. That's about all you need to know lol.

30 years since Bobby threw that chair.....was wondering this AM why it was on ESPN classic then noticed BK wasnt on the sideline anymore.. Watched much of the second half. Crazy watching a game without a 3 point line.
Always loved that low camera angle they used to have at assembly hall.

Blown out at Northwestern. Can the 7 year experiment be over yet?? Jesus Christ Tom Crean is one of the worst coaches I've ever had to watch.

10 straight losses followed by 4 straight wins. Confidence is a funny thing sometimes.

They are confident, but this game is on Crean and his inability to have a clue as to how to coach. Losing 7 of 11 to NU?? Smoked by Syracuse with 2 top 4 picks. The guy doesn't know what to do vs a zone. And that's just the tip of how awful he is as a coach.

I give him credit for incredible player development. That's where it stops. He does nothing else above average, and in most aspects is well below.

I believe I've been on that train since the day he was hired. D Wade dragged him to one final 4. Other than that his Marquette resume was 8 years of mediocrity.

If Indiana is above the NIT, they should be above retaining Crean as head coach.

That's the biggest problem, he develops players so well they carry him to some great years...which buy him enough time to suck inbetween. Wade, James and Marquette. Now Oladipo and Williams at IU...

But yeah, LOTS of insiders who claim Brad Stevens wife hates the NBA life and Boston in general. Just make it happen. And if not him, pretty much anyone else lol

And for the record I hated the hire. Then Crean kinda fooled me for a year with some great recruiting and player development. Then I realized when IU was good and still he looked clueless at times that he had to go. I've been on the fire Crean train since about December of 2012 when we were #1 with only the OT loss to Butler on the resume.

I am not a fan of him either. Have to give me credit for taking this team from the abyss early on. I thought this year would be a make or break season, and I thought he would fail but he hasnt.

I think when he failed to do more with that fantastic talent he had a couple of years ago then that tells us all we needed to know. I was ready to move on after last season and thought this year would be a failure and he would be shown the door.

They wont be getting rid of him after overachieving this year.

They haven't overachieved at all.

They might very well miss the tournament...

Now, they could end up winning the last 2 as well and be safe, but even so, not sure an 8/9 game is overachieving.

Seen most preseason rankings had them 9th and 10th. The media poll had them at 9 with votes from 6-12th for the season. They are 7th now and could go up a couple of spots but doubtful they go down.

Well, Michigan doesnt really count with their injuries. But even so, that isnt overachieving. Overachieving is doing what Purdue is doing (though I still think Matt Painter is a bad coach). What Indiana is doing is about par for the expectations. Maybe a little better in conference. 11-7 and I will say they overachieved, but only slightly. I think most people saw 10-8 as realistic and 9-9 as most likely with 8-10 being a horrible season.

No matter what you think, going 4-7 versus Northwestern, losing at home to Penn St., only getting to S16 and losing 7 games in 2012, etc is enough to make a change. The only year Tom Crean has actually made me think he was a good coach was in 2011, and its pretty clear that is because Cody Zeller was much better than anticipated (despite being a top 15 recruit). That and Jordan Hulls ran the team on the court, getting them into the right situations.
