Since I live in Kansas now, our trip during the summers will consist of going to Kentucky and Ohio to see family.

I'll be going to Denver in May to recruit, I'll catch a Colorado Rapids game. In June/July, we'll be at Lake Cumberland for Independence Day. That's about it.

Heading to Put-in-Bay for a bachelor party in June
Traveling to Asia for work, likely in August. But I'm there for long enough I get to relax/sight see over the weekends. But that'll be in Hong Kong, Taipei and Shanghai.
Denver for a conference that sounds more like one big party in September
Nashville maybe for the Browns game in October
Looking to squeeze a trip to the Bahamas in with my gf for our two year anniversary as well.

Nothing set in stone yet except PIB Memorial Day weekend for a friends birthday. I'll probably be there a couple times this summer since her family owns a house on middle bass.

Possibly Hilton Head for free (best friends parents have a timeshare they aren't using) if we are still able to book this late in the year. I don't think my parents are planning a family vacation being that they just booked a cruise. Definitely want to head down to the Yough River in SW Pa to white-water raft for the 3rd time. Seriously a blast.

First will be Disney World, then the next I'd like to look at taking the family out of the country, like a Mediterranean Cruise or something.
Disney is way overpriced and to be honest it sucks, JMO

Heading down to North Carolina the week of July 4th. Probably spend a couple days in different areas. Not sure where yet. Weekend trip to NYC is in the works as well. Many trips to Hocking Hills will be made like every summer.

Punta Cana in June. Staying at an all-inclusive resort. My wife and I both have some hesitations, as we tend to be more adventurous travelers and like to explore the places we travel to and not spend all of our time on a resort. However, the trip is with 4 HS friends who I rarely get to see anymore, so it'll be fun drinking with them and catching up. Also, we leave for the trip on the day after taking round 2 of my CFA exam, so I will need the relaxation...

Other than that, will probably head to Ohio for a week in Aug/Sep to see family, Palm Springs in Nov to visit Father in Law, and maybe a couple long weekend road trips here in Oregon during the summer...

My sister was at a bridal show and won a free week long, all-inclusive stay at a resort in punta Cuna. Trying to get her to give it to me.

Well, I was going to head to Nashville, but not now!

With two kids (9 and 4) we're probably making it a "stay-cation" this year. Perhaps hit up a night or two locally - some place with water slides and stuff. Kids won't know the difference between the next town over and Alaska. (My 9yo will.)

Last year was Cincinnati with a Reds game, Creation Museum, Cinci Aquarium, and then picked up a dog - unbeknownst to the kids - on the way home. Could be tough getting a way for a while.

What safaris/national reserves are you hitting up? I would love to go on a safari with my wife. We have looked mostly at the masai mara.

can't believe I forgot..myself and some buddies from high school are also talking about going down to Texas for an Alligator Gar bowfishing trip. I believe it when we are on the way there though. Hard to get them to commit to things.
