Chris Sheridan broke LBJ back to Cleveland 2 days before the letter was released. Broussard the morning of, said the Letter was a sticking point and it was looking bad for Cleveland.

And Yes SAS did break LBJ to Miami.

PG: Kyrie, Delly
SG: Wiggins, Ray Allen, James Jones
SF: Lebron, Mike Miller
PF: Love, TT
C: Varejao, Haywood

And some fluidity as to the last couple pieces. Probably a budget big
We'll be lucky to get a season's worth of games from Love/Andy combined.

A starting 5 with those 2 and Kyrie is a walking MASH unit. We can only hope they don't proceed with gutting the roster to bring in Love so he can miss half a season's worth of games for $20+ million a year.

Love played 77 games last year.

This is from ESPN Insider. If the Cavs are going to do this deal, on blind faith that Love will like it here and will resign after playing for one year, they obviously haven't learned their lesson, not to trust anyone after the Boozer fiasco (and yes, I know, different front office than the Boozer days)....

The main reason why the Minnesota Timberwolves are open to trading Kevin Love (for the right price) is that his current deal is guaranteed only through the 2014-15 campaign. He has a player option (worth $16.7 million) for 2015-16, which means he can choose to leave the Wolves and become an unrestricted free agent next summer.

Would he activate that option if he lands with a new team like the Cleveland Cavaliers?

"I'm hearing Love will not pick up his option -- that he would prefer to go to the Cavs on his current deal, then presumably enjoy being successful playing with LeBron James," wrote Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Pluto added that, "I'm hearing the Cavs realize they may have to accept Love's current deal and gamble on him enjoying playing in Cleveland and with James. Then they will try to sign him for a maximum deal in 2015. So don't be shocked if a deal is made with his contract situation staying the same."

Love would gain some flexibility by having the right to hit the market as a full-fledged unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2015, because he could sign with any team he wishes. That means if things don't work well with the Cavs, or if James opts out next summer, Love wouldn't be stuck there an extra year.

Money may be the bigger factor in declining the option, though. As a free agent, per the CBA, Love would be able to re-sign with the Cavs for five years as a free agent next summer (four with any other team). If he picks up the option, the Cavs could add only two more years to the deal.

And in the previous 4 seasons managed only 206 of a possible 312 games.

Dude is majorly injury prone.

All the more reason to never include Wiggins unless we somehow get Kevin Durant in the deal as well.

I'd say that's a bit of a stretch. A lot of his time missed was due to injuries on his shooting hand. It's not like he's constantly dealing with knee issues.

Lol twist numbers all you want. You're basically saying you don't want him because he broke his hand two years ago and missed most of the season. Last year, he played all but five games. Yeah, real injury prone

Yeah, I think that injury prone thing is a myth. Still don't want him without an extension in place and you sure as Hell aren't giving up Wiggins without that guarantee.

The ad should have read "You're welcome......Miami CHeat fan" because we all know when discussing Miami's fan base, "fan" is not plural.

He sold his baseball HOF vote to deadpan. That is the one and only time I have liked something that lebatard has done. Other than that he is a loud mouth douche bag. His fucking shows suck too (radio & tv)

ESPN just more or less confirmed that all the others offers we've been hearing leaked were BS, leaked by Minny.

Minny has only been negotiating with Cleveland.

Which confirms what most sensible people have been saying for weeks now. That Flip is trying to make Cleveland bid against ourselves.

Too much. I'm serious. You don't give up all that when you're budding against yourself. Go look at the Chris Paul, Paul Gasol, and melo deals. None of them brought back #1s and a #4 pick.
