But that's not a bold statement because going from a 1% chance to 5% chance is still "better". The Heat are going to have a ton of flexibility too if all 3 renounce their contracts, I think there's a great chance they do enough to keep him.
The Heat are still in a tough spot. I don't really expect them all to take that much of a salary reduction to keep the team together, especially with the craptastic performance of Bosh. Do they really want to pay Bosh more than $10M a year? He's going to want a max contract or close to it to stay with the team and even playing the opt out game they are going to be massively over the cap to keep the team together. Plus, what do you do about the rest of the team? They barely have anyone signed up and there are only so many competent vets out there that will take $1.5M a year to try to win a championship.
Really the Cavs are in a much better position because they have good players under relatively cheap contracts and could offer Lebron a max deal and bring in more talent if they want to pay a little luxury tax/do some trades. Anyways, not trying to get too positive about it because its not a guaranteed deal but it wouldn't shock me at all if Lebron came back. Like I said, Miami is in a tough spot.
