Salazar vs Danks in game one. Salazar has his hands full Chicago has their offense going early on.

Quick 1-0 Tribe lead with the Kipnis RBI. Danks looks terrible at the start.

Thanks, Con.

Didnt want to start my 2nd round of threads this early in the year.

Tribe offense looks good so far, even Santana was able to see 5 pitches before the K. Hopefully Salazar can hit the strike zone, because as you said, Chicago is clicking on offense.

And...as i am typing, Tribe is robbed on another run as Brantley lined on off of Danks to the 2B for the 3rd out.

Don't be shy about startin' threads. Your record seems to be pretty good.

Learned the Vegas over/under on Indians wins this year is 80. Yikes. Pitching, pitching, pitching.

I dont see how they dont go over .500, but yeah, Vegas is smarter than I am.

And I am not shy about starting threads, I had a fantastic run last year (almost a month, if I recall).

And now that I am thinking about it, OhioBucks1 should start this one...since we won the Padres thread. Fuck.

Where's he at? He missed the beginning of the game.

My guess is 87. I still think the Central will be up for grabs at that number.

Keep Asdrubal in the lead-off spot!! lol

But seriously, he swung it better yesterday leading off, and a double/HR today is a great start.

Damn, I like that Salazar isnt throwing all heat, but he has to get those breaking balls down in the zone. When he has tonight, its been lights out.

I want Salazar to be consistent so badly. He is just filthy when he has his stuff working. Unfortunately, it goes from batter to batter still.

10 Ks in 3.2 innings is ridiculous.

Random note:

I saw Jose Abreu play in Cuba in 2012. Wish I wouldve known about today...I wouldve ended his career that week.

On the flip side, giving up 6 hits and 5 earned runs in 3.2 innings is not. As you said earlier, his "slurve" has to drop or he'll have a lot more outings like this one. However, once he gets control of that pitch, he will be ridiculous.

Lots of positives in Salazar's start last night. When he has it working, he is downright filthy. I don't know if I have ever seen such dominance sprinkled in with the ability to get knocked around the yard in the same start. It was either a strikeout or extra bases.

Tough tough matchup tonight for us. Although, the Tribe have had Sale's number. We knocked him around a bit last year. This is the 4th lefty in a row for the Tribe. Despite loading the lineup with right handed and switch hitters, the offense hasn't been able to produce. Carrasco goes for the Tribe. He is terrible. I expect him to get crushed tonight. Combine that the Sox have been hot and Carrasco is 1-4 lifetime vs them with an ERA of 6.75 and a WHIP of over 1.5...could get ugly. Hopefully if he gets knocked around, we can see what Bauer can do. He looked good in his spot start vs the Padres.

Dont have a good feeling about tonight, but, if we are going to lose, I hope Carrasco gets blown out so we can see what Bauer has. 2 bad starts from CC and a great start from Bauer...it would be tough to justify not making the move, even though it is so early, especially since Bauer was really pretty good in ST and his 1st start in AAA.

Sale has struggled against the INdians losing his last four but it sounds like he has started the year pretty good.

How many lefties does Chicago have??
