Damn what a game. This win should be enough to get BYU in.

Are you assuming both Duke and UNC can't get ones? Especially if they disregard the conference tournaments, I'd figure both of them HAVE to be on the 1-line now. Right now, it's Kentucky, Virginia, Duke and Arizona if I had to say. Zona isn't losing again.

I don't have Duke as a 1. And I don't see them
getting it without winning the ACCT.

Also, BYU is not in. It honestly shouldn't be close, but this will be a win that gets them more than they deserve. 3 horrible losses, 1 top 50 win and only 4 top 100 wins.

Will be hard to overlook Duke's fairly dominant win in Madison. Sure, more losses for Duke (3 to 2), but if they get to Sunday in the ACC Tourney and don't lose by then, they have to get it. Of course, this is all moot because chances are a few more teams lose.
Duke has 8 top 50 wins to Wisconsin's 6, including a head to head over them. Duke also has a higher overall SOS. Duke's 2 "bad" losses are Miami and NCSU, both are fringe NCAA teams. Wisconsin, despite not having Kaminsky, has an awful loss to Rutgers who is right there with Missouri for the worst high-major school.

Although neither will make the Final Four if Washington is in their bracket.

Just a reminder that the ACC tournament championship game is now on Saturday night this year. No longer Sunday afternoon.
And personally I don't care if Duke is a 1 or 2, just put them in the bracket with best potential matchups (bring on the Lehigh and Mercer jokes)

My line of thinking is simply only 1 team from ACC gets a 1. Not that Duke can't/shouldn't, more that they won't. User Virginia beating them, and I see the committee looking at Duke as a team who has struggled mightily since they went to only 8 players.
I also see UNC beating them and I see them losing before the title game. They just haven't looked good at all recently. But, if they win the tournament, I will concede it will be tough to have them and Virginia not both in the top line.

Yeah only way Duke gets 1 seed is to win the ACCT. I think both Duke and Virginia can get 1's if that does happen. Also I'm with Azu about who the #1 seeds currently are.

Thing is, outside of conference play, what has Nova done? OOC wins over Syracuse and VCU aren't even wins over NCAA Tourney teams (VCU is borderline). Their win over Michigan was top 25 at the time, but it's nothing now. Their only win over an NCAA team in the OOC was Temple, possibly VCU. I'm sorry, but that doesn't compare to a 3 or 4-loss Duke team, IMO.

Not a chance Nova gets a 1 seed due to their resume', like azu pointed out. They literally have zero good wins OOC and two iffy losses to bubble teams.
Biased question of the day...could Kansas sneak into that 1 seed if they win the big 12 tourney and no further losses? They do have the #1 SOS and last i saw they were ahead of Kentucky in RPI.

UK jumped them, but I think KU needs to do what you said, AND need help. They need Arizona to lose again, and probably Wisconsin. If they got a #1, it would be out west, which wouldn't be awful drawing Zona or Gonzaga as the 2. Nova doesn't deserve a #1 now, but would be ahead of KU, and I don't see Nova losing again. They would probably get the Houston regional as Duke/Virginia would probably get the Syracuse regional.
Personally, I'd rather be a #2 in Houston if I'm KU than a #1 out west with Zona in my bracket. You can't say you would be upset if Nova or Duke got the Houston regional with KU. Those are teams KU can match-up with moreso than Zona or UK, IMO.

His talent must not have overcome these allegations...
You do realize that you misquoted Krzyzewski the first time and have done so once again, right?
Coach K never made that comment that you keep referencing.

Oklahoma spanking Iowa State. Could be 2 straight home losses for the Cyclones, and 3 straight overall.

I know I misquoted him the first time, someone pointed it out. That doesn't mean people can't run with the headline.

Instant 17-0 run. That took about 3 minutes of game time.

LSU smacked at home by Tennessee. Hurts them and, by extension, Texas A&M. No idea how the Aggies are considered a tournament team, honestly.
Pitt up 4 on Miami at half.
Purdue up 3 @ MSU.
