I love how some espn guys were saying that error on the second baseman should have been ruled a hit. Are you kidding me? It was a fucking popup, of course it was an error

Many people believe that just because it wasnt touched that it should be ruled a hit.Classyposter58;1615225 wrote:Should have been a hit
I just saw the tail end of the replay the other night and didnt know what it was about until they were talking about it afterwards. I didnt get to see the whole play and I may check it out online today, but just becuase it wasnt touched doesnt me it is a hit.

I say it's not because it was just played poorly. That second baseman was running all around out there and plain out missed it. It's not an errorthavoice;1615347 wrote:Many people believe that just because it wasnt touched that it should be ruled a hit.

Just wondered becuase someone yesterda at our unit was talking about how it should have been a hit because no one touched it and didnt know if you were basing your opinion on it or not.

It's always tough because there are many "errors" made on the field, but not all should go down as errors scored. If anything, many scoring errors can become more egregious than ones that go as hits.

Yeah I got a tweet yesterday afternoon about him going to the DL with an elbow problem and my thought was please don't let him be out for the year. Woke up this morning and looks like that will be the case. Really fucking sucks. Actually thought the Marlins might have a chance for a playoff spot. Probably not happening now.SportsAndLady;1615570 wrote:Hernandez feared to be done for the year. Bummer. Kid is really fuckin good.

Jeff Samwhatever from the Cubs must be hating life. Currently has a statline among the best in the NL and has no wins. Two days after his last start (6IP, 0 runs and a ND in a 2-0 loss), the Cubs put up 17 to crush the Cards.

How about the Tigers! Two on with two out in the 9th and Cabrera mashes a homer, followed by Martinez next at bat. This team is absolutely rolling

The game should have ended previously but the replay booth overturned an out with half assed evidenceClassyposter58;1616025 wrote:How about the Tigers! Two on with two out in the 9th and Cabrera mashes a homer, followed by Martinez next at bat. This team is absolutely rolling

Since when? Lol it's not like Detroit has been a flameout the last 3 years in the postseason, they've advanced to the ALCS every year. And typically they're a slow starting teamSportsAndLady;1616034 wrote:Rolling in May.
