Scary stuff in Pittsburgh. Jordy Mercer hit a ball 101 mph off his bat hitting Marlins reliever Dan Jennings in the temple and 2nd baseman caught ball.

Final pic he raised his arm and PNC gave him a standing ovation

Yeah, I saw that. Scary as hell, especially that totally vacant look on his face when he was standing up. Damn...hate seeing stuff like that happen.

Danny Valencia was 2 for 2 with a double....Blue Jays PH for him with Juan Francisco. Francisco is now 0-5 and has left 8 runners on base.

Game in the 18th inning now

Garrett Jones faced Alfredo Simon yesterday and saw an euphus pitch of 57 mph followed by a 95 mph.... Has to be the biggest difference in pitch speeds in MLB history....and then faced Chapman and saw 102 mph

It happens. He doesn't have his stuff at all. Fastball was 88-90 mph. It's impressive what he did for all those innings and for several years.

The freak that was Nolan Ryan just gets harder and harder to believe.

I'd like to know how many times he was sent out for the 7th/8th/9th inning already at 100+ pitches. It was so nonsensical...

Also, 19 inning game yesterday and only 1IP from the starter today. Tigers pen has to be completely shot at the moment.
