Honestly... and I know this might sound like a "homer pick"... but honestly... I'm surprised B.Miller isn't ranker higher (i.e., inside the top 10, maybe even top 5). I'd put him ahead Tyler Boyd (WR), Jeremy Langford (RB), Randy Gregory (DE), Mike Davis (RB), and Melvin Gordon (RB)... but that's just me.Con_Alma;1616944 wrote:I know....it's the Bleacher Report...but here's their ranking on the 50 best players going into next year.

I'd have Todd Gurley ahead of Melvin Gordon too.
Also... Laquon Treadwell is waaaaaaaaaaaay too low (at 20). Treadwell is easily a top 15, maybe even top 10 talent.

It's just one man's opinion. Braxton is definitely a top 5 player heading into next year.Scarlet_Buckeye;1617380 wrote:Honestly... and I know this might sound like a "homer pick"... but honestly... Athlon Sports has the Midshipmen opening the Season against Ohio State as the 57th ranked team in the country.

Anti-military? I was merely stating a fact that Navy is going to get blown out so their ranking is irrelevant.Tiernan;1621809 wrote:I'm going anyway and supporting the Midshipmen all day to give the Bucks a game...in the meantime anti-military dipshits like yourself can GFYs.

Don't play coy...you've many times expressed your idiotic opinion that members of the military shouldn't be honored.sleeper;1621820 wrote:Anti-military? I was merely stating a fact that Navy is going to get blown out so their ranking is irrelevant.

This is about football. I do not believe Navy is a special team just because they represent a branch of the military; they are going to get blown out.Tiernan;1621827 wrote:Don't play coy...you've many times expressed your idiotic opinion that members of the military shouldn't be honored.

Shouldn't Ohio State blow out Navy? If it's not a blow out it would be shocking.sleeper;1621798 wrote:Navy is going to get blown out.
If the Buckeyes don't blow out the 57th ranked team in the country it says more about them than their opponent.

Quality GPAs and football.
Navy's Keenan Reynolds is mentioned.
"
[h=4]Keenan Reynolds, QB, Navy[/h] While Tennessee's Josh Dobbs is the quarterback studying to build planes, Reynolds might be the one who ends up flying them for the Navy. As if setting an NCAA record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback wasn't enough, the busy schedule at the Academy certainly added to his workload. However, he still managed to post strong grades in his political science classes."

This is a pretty cool article whereby Coach Niumatalolo touches on the differences between Ohio State and Navy.
Very good read.

They don't just represent the military. Lol They are in the military. They are receiving a government paycheck and have military rank and duties assigned to them.sleeper;1621828 wrote:This is about football. Doesn't change my statement. The school represents the Navy; just like Ohio State represents the great state of Ohio. They are going to get blown out and I will be there in person to see it.Con_Alma;1623016 wrote:They don't just represent the military. Lol They are in the military. It wasn't intended to change your statement but rather add to it with the information I provided.sleeper;1623153 wrote:Doesn't change my statement. It wasn't even intended to suggest your statement was wrong.
