I told you fellas that Navy is a good team and it could be a very tight game through three quarters. Beating them by three scores is impressive- they will win nine or ten games

Why would you assume there need to be excuses?? Has this game been predicted to be any different than it was?? ...except by you of course.
It seems to have played out exactly as has been thought.

Yeah I've been on your side the last few posts. Pick is idiotic. Plain and simple.Automatik;1649345 wrote:I'm all for Barrett becoming a baller, so you won't see that from me. I just get a kick out of the talk like he's the 2nd coming when in reality, we don't know shit.
Every year there is a discussion that lasts the whole year that always pisses me off. Barrett v Miller is going to be that discussion this year it appears.

It won't be worse than the Pryor vs. Boeckman one I endured every time I watched the Bucks play with my friends during Pryor's freshman year. Nothing could have been worse than that.SportsAndLady;1649362 wrote:Yeah I've been on your side the last few posts. Pick is idiotic. Plain and simple.

Or a couple years back when there was a "Pryor was horrible" group and a "Pryor was great" group. And Pryor wasn't even at OSU. That one always pissed me off.Heretic;1649363 wrote:It won't be worse than the Pryor vs. Boeckman one I endured every time I watched the Bucks play with my friends during Pryor's freshman year. Only if the Buckeyes lose a couple while Barrett is under center. If the Buckeyes continue to win, the critics will STFU. Give it a couple of weeks.SportsAndLady;1649342 wrote:I can already tell the constant comparisons of Barrett to miller is going to be the most annoying talk on here.
Every play will be an analysis of how Braxton would have done in the same situation.

Pryor broke OSU record after OSU record and won Bcs bowl games and he still had critics.
Everyone has critics, there are always haters. No matter how good you are or how many games you win.

sleeper, the game played bore no resemblance to the one you predicted. Ohio State was clearly the better team. But that game wasn't a blowout. It was close to the end when the Buckeyes got a couple of easy scores. Your call of the game all week was way, way off.sleeper;1649347 wrote:Navy blown out. EZ game. Where are the excuses Con_Alma?

Only in South Bend is a 17 point win not a blowout. A 17 point loss by ND is a "close game that was in doubt". This ain't ND bro, this is OHIO STATE.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1649383 wrote:sleeper, the game played bore no resemblance to the one you predicted. Ohio State was clearly the better team. Lol @ S&L. No room to talk when you are "confident" with Brian Hoyer over one fucking drive in a preseason game against 2nd stringers.

What I will remember from his debut is watching him throw twice to a receiver 10+ yards that was open, under throwing it so much that the defender actually had time to once make the tackle and the other time miss the tackle. He lofts the ball to much and does not lead the receivers to get YAC.Pick6;1649308 wrote:I tend to blow minds every now and then. Barrett will accomplish more in his career than Miller ever did. It's really not hard to beat when you look at quality. Barrett had the best debut out of any OSU QB since at least 2001 (per 11w), against arguably the best competition as well. Navy is a solid team.

I've always had confidence in hoyer you tard. My post about this preseason game was more so saying I'm still confident despite his bad injury last year.Pick6;1649412 wrote:Lol @ S&L. I will give you those, but I thought he used a lot more touch on throws just to make sure they were complete. I'm guessing as he gets more experience he won't throw lobs like that, but there was one pass that it felt like it took forever to get to the WR. With confidence I expect him to throw with more velocity.Sonofanump;1649422 wrote:What I will remember from his debut is watching him throw twice to a receiver 10+ yards that was open, under throwing it so much that the defender actually had time to once make the tackle and the other time miss the tackle. I doubt Pryor has ever used crack or hookers. He did have a reputation of fucking rich white girls at OSU and getting them to buy him stuff. If anything he's shown to be quite entrepreneurial!believer;1649449 wrote:Agreed. He'll also blow it on crack, tats, and hookers in less than a year.

...and just for the record S&L - Pryor never won shit worth a damn at OSU and all his "records" are fraud. TP and Jimmy The Liar set Buckeye football back a dozen years and we still haven't completely recovered.

From what I heard from some very credible sources is this POS smoked more herb than a Bob Marley tribute band. And Jimmy The Liar knew it and turned a blind eye.
