Arrange to have a friend call you while you are taking a test drive with the salesman from the dealership of the car you like best. Act like its another dealership calling you back with a counter offer. Tell the guy you are riding with that you like his vehicle a little better but the new price just offered on the phone has you leaning that way. I've pulled this stunt 2 or 3 times and always get the guy to drop another 500 - 1000 bucks. I love screwing with used car dealerships.
