Also since when does going to 6 Olympics make you overrated? Logic fail. You never fail to bring the lulz.
He's overrated because they talk about him like some superstar, Ligety is way better

He also has 5 world medals (4 gold), and 2 overall World Cup titles (ligety has 0, but I'm not even arguing who is better between the two).

Do you even know what overrated means? Let me help you. Typically people who are overrated receive a lot of hype/praise/attention for their alleged ability and have nothing to really to show for it. An example of this would be Matt stafford. We hear how good he is, but he only has 2 wins in his career (about 25 losses) to teams with over .500 records.

Bode miller has been putting up champion level results his whole career. Just stop. Also, I am willing to bet you had no idea who ligety was before he won gold a couple days ago, considering you were about 10 years old the last time he won a gold medal.

Now Danica Patrick is by far the most overrated athlete...if you consider those rednecks who race NASCAR to be athletes.

You're actually trying to use his being in his sixth Olympics as a negative?

That guy literally has no idea what he's talking about. Perhaps in the Netherlands, speed skating is a big deal and the athletes there are highly recognized and famous. In America, after next week no one will remember or GAF what happened in the winter olympics, whether you did well or not.

Anyways, I'm glad they're ending soon. Ready for the return of network television. I've actually watched a fair share of it, but I can't get into events that I wouldn't recognize a good performance from a bad.

It gets a little ridiculous after like the 6th virtually identical skiing event.

Although I thought speed skating pursuit was pretty cool, but the relay not so much.

I watched something briefly last night (I think it was the pursuit, like you said) where it was skaters switching and then giving each other a push-off every couple laps. That was interesting. The other thing is I hate how NBC saves coverage for prime time when everything happened hours ago and you basically have to avoid television, Facebook, Twitter, etc. if you want to watch without knowing what happened.

That was the relay. "Pursuit" is a 3-man time-trial where they take turns pulling at the front and then falling back to draft.
