Defense needs work in the secondary but Wisconsin isn't exactly a good passing team so who knows

Does NBC have a say in the polls?

Notre Dame USED to have this impact. Today's fan that is most influencing the "bottom line" no longer holds ND in that regard. They are no bigger name than Ohio State, LSU, Alabama, Texas, Florida, USC, etc...

They may not have MORE impact than those programs. But they still have AS MUCH impact as those programs. During the 2012 season, Notre Dame had something like 4 of the highest television ratings that year (along with Alabama).

And classy...yes it's corporate driven. At least the AP poll is. After all, that's the poll decided on by sports writers and analysts. OF COURSE it's corporate driven.

LOL at ND being ranked highly because of money. This isn't the 1970's, ND is terrible, has been terrible, and always will be terrible. I'd be surprised if they win more than 8 games.

Surprised it took you this long. Over 12 hours before you could copy/paste your normal response is pretty rough.

And for the record, I agree with you. I said at the beginning of the season that 9-3 for Notre Dame would be a plus with their schedule.

BGSU isn't that bad for the B1G either considering they're the defending MAC champs and almost beat Pitt last year in the Little Caesars Bowl
No. They beat arguably the weakest B1G team by three at home two weeks after giving up over 700 yards of offense to Western Kentucky. In the grand scheme of it, that's one nobody beating another nobody that will have no effect on how the B1G is perceived (much like nobody rips on the SEC whenever a school like Vandy or Kentucky loses to a nobody).

Is being Falcon Fast better than having SEC speed? Plz be honest.

Haha no and we'll see how IU performs against Mizzou but they may be a 6 win team this season. WKU does have a pretty good damn O though but BGSU definitely didn't show up for that one

6? They currently have one and I can't see them being picked to win any others besides North Texas and lolPurdue. That means they'd have to beat three other teams. If they wind up with six, the B1G is even more sad than anyone imagined.

Their offense is pretty good and if they get some turnovers could get Maryland, Iowa, Michigan or Rutgers

With their schedule? LOL

With their schedule they will end up in a bowl game they don't deserve against a quality opponent that will blow them out only to have ND fans start talking about how good they will be next year.

Ya...now that they've just about finished playing the shitty part of their schedule (read: B1G teams), they now get into the tough part of the schedule that has top teams from the ACC and Pac-12. It's not all world killers (they still have another shitty B1G team on the schedule), but they haven't even gotten into the hard part of the schedule where they play teams from real conferences yet. I'm interested to see how Notre Dame will look against teams from decent conferences.

Not a ND hack. I think they can compete at a 10-15 rank level this year.

The Big Ten won more BCS games last year than Notre Dame has in their program's history. Not sure they're in any position to be determining who is and is not a shitty conference.

Who said that "they" are determining who is and is not a shitty conference? LOL. That was a big time stretch bro.

I'm determining. And this year the B1G sucks a fat one.

I'm not sure watching Notre Dame for the past 20 years or whatever qualifies you to make judgement on the quality of play week in and week out of top programs.

Correct. Unless losing to Navy 3 out of 4 years is considered quality.

LOL. You guys aren't even good at this. At least Sleeper is funny with his stuff ragging on ND and their fans (at least most of the time). If you're really trying to say that the B1G is a top conference this year, HelloAgain, then you're fucking retarded.

And Boogie...you should probably check your history, man. ND has beat Navy 3 of the last 4 years. But don't let the facts get in the way.

Doesn't look like anyone has declared them a top conference but it's a little early to call it "not a real conference." Those of us who watch the big boys play week in and week out know the way things look in the first 3 weeks of the season is seldom how they look at the end.

Yeah Boogie, get it straight!!! The Irish are 4-3 in the last 7 against Navy

The MAC currently has more OOC wins against power conference schools that the B1G. I think the Big 10 is probably the weakest its ever been.
