There's nothing to rationalize, chief, it was a pathetic, embarrassing loss. Period.ptown_trojans_1;1653773 wrote:I'm trying to rationalize it man ha.

OSU loses to va tech. Va tech loses the next game to east carolina. Try and make east Carolina seem okay and call it a bad matchup for va tech. Nah

Petrino is every bit as good of a coach as Strong.

South Carolina not playing like they did against A&M and Georgia is not playing like they did against Clemson.
South Carolina has had 4 drives of 75 yards and this one resulted in another TD to put them up 31-20 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

Probably about time for his agent to float another NFL rumor so Iowa ponies up another 5 years and raise.vball10set;1653786 wrote:Kirk Ferentz, aka perennial B1G coty...smfh

The only feasible rationalization is that it was an early season loss for a very young team. If we obviously get better and run our schedule we could sneak back up.
Early losses are easier to overcome than late ones.

That was an intense 4th down spot. Cocks going to beat UGA.

I expected this later on in the season from my USC boys, but their lack of depth of defense is getting to them in a hurry(in total they have fewer than 60 healthy scholarship players). Two games in a row against smash mouth teams will kill a team like USC. BC knew what they had to do and they are doing it. I expect the rest of the PAC-12 to take note of it.
