The college football costume contests look to be in full swing. The only thing I ask when the guys are pictured in their "alternative" costumes is they do the unbelievably super cool "hands together" gesture so we can see the logo that is half on each palm. Super duper cool!!!

Sorry...sucks that they are forcing you to buy the uniform and are making you wear it. Oh they aren't? You're just being a grumpy old dude? Cool.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1643753 wrote:The college football costume contests look to be in full swing. I love when people get so pissed about something as insignificant as what uniforms a team is going to be wearing during games. It's one thing to say a uniform is ugly. No harm there. But to get into the butthurt of that post is pretty stupid.

What a bunch of fucking dicks. Kick your girlfriend's dad in the dick, smack her mom's tits, and then give me your ticket.SportsAndLady;1643784 wrote:God damnit, I'm going to be in south bend for ND/Michigan and my girlfriends parents are buying me a ticket to the game...same time as OSU/ va tech 

If someone bought you a ticket to a game you didn't really care about, that conflicted with a big ND game, you'd be pissed come on.sherm03;1643787 wrote:What a bunch of fucking dicks. Kick your girlfriend's dad in the dick, smack her mom's tits, and then give me your ticket.

Time to find a new g/f!
I have a prior engagement and won't be able to watch the VT game until around halftime. Hoping we up by 3 TDs by then.

On the plus side...the ND/Michigan game may be more exciting. It's the last meeting between the two, a generally good rivalry, and should be good weather since it's earlier in the season. Both teams might not be very good...but that can be entertaining, too. OSU should beat the fuck out of Va Tech since Va Tech blows. So at least you'll be watching the closer of the two match-ups.SportsAndLady;1643799 wrote:I mean I have to go lol

Meh...I know what you are saying but in-person, id rather watch OSU vs any opponent over any other game.sherm03;1643803 wrote:On the plus side...the ND/Michigan game may be more exciting. I just don't really like two neutral teams playing. Id watch it at a bar, but not at the stadium.
For example, I left in the third quarter of Pitt/ND game last year that was really exciting.
I should have bet money on it, that's the only way i would have enjoyed it in-person.

I would skip the game. What a waste of time. Who wants to sit around and watch Michigan beat the shit out of a glorified MAC school?SportsAndLady;1643784 wrote:God damnit, I'm going to be in south bend for ND/Michigan and my girlfriends parents are buying me a ticket to the game...same time as OSU/ va tech 

If we are playing Navy we will up 3 TDs before kickoff.Automatik;1643802 wrote:Time to find a new g/f!

I get you. I'd feel that same way. Especially since it's with your g/f and her parents and not your friends where you can just get wrecked and goof off. But I think you found your answer...put a bet down on the ND/Michigan game and then it'll be more exciting for you.SportsAndLady;1643806 wrote:Meh...I know what you are saying but in-person, id rather watch OSU vs any opponent over any other game.

Since it'll be on ESPN, can you watch the OSU game on your phone?

I don't care much what uniforms look like. What I mock is the "coming out" of the super cool new look unis that every program now engages is. You expect to hear the 2001:A Space Odyssey theme playing. THe special effects designed into the new uniforms make them costumes more than uniforms and represent form over substance.sherm03;1643776 wrote:Sorry...sucks that they are forcing you to buy the uniform and are making you wear it. That's because it's meant to get 18-22 year old kids excited. It works. Nobody outside of the people on the actual team should give a fuck what the uniform is or how it's unveiled. It's not for you. It's for the kids on the team.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1644085 wrote:I don't care much what uniforms look like. Michigan is apparently announcing 2 "huge" home and homes very soon. Right now it sounds like Texas and Cal are the 2 most likely. Standford was thought to be but now ruled out.

Yeah, that's pretty much what everyone else has said. I think "huge" came from the mouth of a news site/station, not necessarily from anyone important.vball10set;1644414 wrote:Texas may be huge, but not Cal...but who knows in x amount of years?
