Ga T had the play on 4th down and long at midfield to take the lead, but the QB didn't throw it far enough or with enough air and they turn it over on downs - now need a turnover.

The chance is there....Baylor's case vs TCU might help the Buckeyes

Yup....Buckeyes are in, IMO.

As I said on the other thread, TCU's best win is a KState team that just lost(Probably), and they will probably fall out of the top 15. Oklahoma lost today, so that hurts them, thought OkSU winning helps.

You cannot break a contract. I'm not even talking about the playoff committee here, the Big 12 rules expressly say the conference champion is decided on head to head. By not declaring one they are violating that

Worst onside kick ever.

Looked like a soccer pass.

I think tonight will produce two results:

1) Field expanded to 8 very quickly.
2) B12 has a championship game instead of "one true champ".

In the defense of the Big XII, they just need to step out a PLAY SOMEONE in the non-conference. Their league structure (10 teams, all teams play each other once) works out very well to crown a true champ. They just need to ensure they set up some big match-ups at the end of the season, or really pad their wins early on.

If either Baylor of TCU had a win over another top 10-15 team in the non-conference, I guarantee they would be getting more consideration than they are, because Ohio State's body of work isn't great at all.

I'm sure Cincinnati and Boise will gladly accept their invitation to join.

I think Boise State and Houston would be the best adds. Either way, I don't think they need a championship game. They just need to learn from this and set things up more favorably for the end of the year.

Houston gives the Big 12 another Texas team? Oh joy. Cincinnati gives them a much bigger geographic footprint and just as good if not a better program as of late.
