Statistics has got to be the easiest mathematical field. The rest of us math majors and engineering majors laughed at how easy and boring statistics classes were.

Statistics is by far the easiest math field, and it isn't even close.

Profesional Football makes a horrible analogy for your argument
All the teams are provided large amounts of money from tv contracts and licensing by the league and the poorest teams are allowed first pick of the new players. All done to try to make the games competitive. To do anything comparative to our social structure would required overwhelming amounts of money and opportunities be provided freely to the lower income groups to the extent their individual wealth would be comparative to the top quintiles.
Many students work hard and do not have the opportunities you list. If you would ever read the information provided on this thread, you would understand the lower quintiles have diminishing incomes, little of economic value and for most small if any chance at opportunity. And you would see for all your millionaire BS that the US has one of the lowest rates of social upward mobility of developed nations of the world.

LOL k-12 is used the bulk of Americans. As for post secondary the stats show rich enrollment in colleges is expanding, poor enrollment is stagnating. Both outcomes are because of funds.

Maybe if irresponsible idiots were taught that society is no longer going to pay for their welfare and their kid's welfare, they would stop having children they cannot afford to raise.

For many in the lower quintiles those opportunities are no longer there. For them income is declining, the chance of educational betterment stagnating and the portals of opportunity closing.

We spend about $150,000 per student in this country on a free education from K-12. If a student takes school seriously and does well there are many opportunities to go to college for little or no money. Gosh a ruddy you do not understand the total purpose for the free post secondary program. It is not just to help Will Hunting get into MIT. It is there to make sure poor kids who want to, can get a real chance to get an academic education But it is more than that, it is there to help the kid with a 2.5 gpa get the advanced technical or mechanical training that will lead to a well paying job. Or the worker who has been laid off after working for years and now needs new training for the new job market. That is also post secondary education. Of course you believe they should suffer for not being born a genius or for getting laid off.

I didn't grow up wanting to be poor, entitlement or on welfare but I was. I'm thankful for that lesson but saw others settle for want was less than what they where worth. Government aid has its place but should never be a life style for any anyone, limit the aid and dependency will create less poor and more wealth.
Obama talks of hard work, dedication and individual prosperity but in the same breath bashes what those value will create wealth.
I work and earn for my family and myself respect... Not for the government to take... It not theirs to take.
