Hmmmm...a Stark hasn't died yet this season.

I think Tyrion dying is going to allow them to shift focus away from King's Landing, for the most part. With Sansa leaving, only Jamie is of marginal interest there, at this point.

They have 20-30 episodes to wrap this thing up. Dany is still on the other side of the ocean. Arya and the Hound seem like they are about to go all Bonnie & Clyde. Sansa and Littlefinger would seem to be the other major plot next year.

Then you have the marginal/periphery stories (at least at this juncture)...The boring cripple (those are the only painfully dull scenes in the show, every time), who's pace of story is only rivaled by the White Walkers. Plus we have Reek and his closeted homosexual sadist master. And Brien. Jon Snow and his red-neck girlfriend.

I'm banking on a shitstorm of epic proportions (valar morghulis and all that) ... at least five of Tyrion, Tywin, Jamie, Jon, Ygritte, Cersei, Ramsay, Roose, Hound dead by the end of the season.

It seems like the Sansa Littlefinger story line might get weird as fuck and I seriously hope it doesn't happen. The dude just looks like a real life pedo.

I will.

P.S - I dont think Tyrion will die. He's too important and awesome. Actually, I take that back. GRRM is a dick and will probably kill him off just because people like him. Also count me in as one who thinks Little finger just genuinely loves sansa because he misses her mom and isn't going to screw her.

Well, I accidentally saw how many plot lines next week's show will cover. But I can't give you a specific number because I don't want to upset the spoiler police...

Littlefinger thinks about two things - taking over the world and screwing Sansa.

I'll say this; the speculation of the unspoiled is so much fun to read. Keep the guesses coming people! :)

I'll throw my wild Tyrion speculation into the mix...Littlefinger engineers Tyrion's escape, planting the seed that it was all the Tyrell's (because Littlefinger is all about creating chaos)....Tyrion will go across the sea to the free zone (or whatever it's called) where he will become an advisor to Dany.

I'm not ruling out Bronn, either. You can't blame him for not taking on a suicide duel with the Mountain, but I don't think he'll abandon Tyrion, especially if Jamie comes to him with a bag of gold.

That would give Tyrion a new purpose. Since Tywin is clearly turning his attention toward Dany, and since they have no spy, a death sentence and subsequent escape could provide a good cover story to get close to her.

Question for book readers. Are the final two books written in present time or do they look back.

A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons pick up where the show will be at the end of the season for the most part. The events of those books where divided by geography rather than chronologically, though some things from those books have already made it on screen.

The tv show is going to deviate from the books nearly completely after this season. They have two more years to wrap it up or if they don't they have to explain why child actors age years when the time period is months.

Kind of a meh episode for me tonight. I'm sure next week will be awesome, and this had a lot of action ... just didn't captivate me all that much.

They just wasted a whole episode on the storyline that I care the least about. Just not interested in castle black and john snow. Probably the worst episode I've seen in a while.

You guys suck!

That was an awesome hour of television. Fantastic battle scenes. But, Jon Snow is also my favorite character, so I might be biased. I thought that was awesome and advanced the storyline a ton.
