Will be interesting how it plays out. They are saying it is th emost expensive SB ticket of all time. Not surprisingly as it happens almost yearly and it is new york.
Have on old picture of Jack Lambert and it also has 4 ticket stubs to those super bowls. Think the SB9 had a price of like 20 bucks maybe.

Friend did go to the steelers in detroit..wont say how much he paid though!

Top O vs Top D. How often has that happened? Think the steelers whe nthey beat the cards was the last time the top D made it.

The weather was a factor in the Indy/Chicago SB a few years back.
They didn't know it was going to rain when they scheduled it. They knew it's going to be fucking cold in New York in February.

Because the most important game in the league should be played in the best possible conditions.

Both teams are semi-use to playing in shitty conditions, so it shouldn't be that bad for them.

Still wondering what competitive sports you played that allows for a deep understanding of professional football that no one else understands. For some reason, I vaguely want to associate Classyposter with golf -- he either played in college or high school. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

He has talked about golfing before. So it all makes sense, because when it comes to direct comparisons between athletes and teams, I think we'd all agree that amateur golfer and elite NFL cornerback are about as similar as two situations could be.

Think he was a billiards player, specializing in pocket pool.

Anyone think Manning drifts into the sunset if he wins it all?

It would hard not to.
Record breaking season and SB win....so many things have to go right for that to happen.
I could see him doing it as well. He has Elway right next to him who went out on top.

but then again, I could see him playing well for another 3-4 years but no way is he approaching this season

He played golf. He compared his golf injury (which consisted of a cut on his hand) and playing a round through the "pain," to Derek Rose's situation with his torn ACL.

Just to add to that story, he called Derek Rose a *****, and apparently classy himself is tougher because he played that round of golf! LOL

Very good.....I guess I went back 21 years for my answer (which is why they cut it off at 20 I'd guess)

Here's the full list

Well his resume of playing through the pain and being tougher than Rose includes this:

Its clear to me the Classy has never played a Team sport of any kind. Because if he had, what Richard Sherman said, wouldn't rank in the top 50 of most outrageous things said on the field, off the field, or in the locker room.

Should he have said it on live TV, probably not. Do his teammates care? Absolutely not. I can almost guarantee they loved it, especially seeing as his play directly resulted in them going to the super bowl. Had any other corner been there, its quite possible that slips through and the 49ers are going to the SB.

Because I want to see two teams on a neutral field with all things even, then see who the best team is. If it's cold and snowy, it's a big advantage Seahawks. Imo, the Super Bowl should be played in the best conditions possible.
