I am not surprised at all Kuechly won. Not sure why anyone would be upset about that. Well deserved.

I don't dislike him or think he's bad, but it's called POLITICS.

The Panthers were the #2 defense in the NFL, the Bengals were #3.

Kuechly, 156 tackles, 93 solo, 2 sacks, 4 INT, 0 FF, 7 PD
Burfict, 171 tackles, 114 solo, 3 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FF, 7 PD

Bottom line, Burfict had a better season, but he's got a bad reputation and led the league in personal fouls. Kuechly has a great story and has been a high-profile, likeable guy since he entered the league.

That's all.

...and I'll also throw in that a LB really shouldn't ever win the DPOY...

I figured you were going to bring up Burfict. He wasn't even first team all pro, not sure why you are so surprised Kuechly won. It's not always about the stats, also I would pick Bowman well before I pick Burfict for DPOY.

Neither is the DPOY, that was my point. And yes, you guys know all year I was saying that Burfict isn't really respected because people think he's an ass hole and have since college.

Can't hate on Kuechly, he's a Cincy native.

Richard Sherman or Robert Mathis. I think a shut down DB or a dominant DE carries a defense more than a middle backer. Especially in this pass happy league...

Heart wants Peyton.

Sadly, I see Seahawks winning.

Personally I'd rather see the AFC win but this game unfortunately is a NFC lock. I'm giving you all this one for free...bet the house on the Seahawks.
I prove once again how much of a football genius I am.
