Caldwell does a great art shell impersonation.

Also I guess I was too young to know this, but art shell was a pretty good coach his first time around in Oakland. I had no idea he had a winning record.

Classy dont let the NEO fools pile on trying to make Detroit seem like a hell hole, I mean unless you're living at the corner of Woodward and MLK Aves its really not that bad and the surrounding towns like Grosse Point, Northville, Livonia, Royal Oak are all really quite nice. Cleveburgh on the other hand is a complete dump from Eastside to Westside and the surrounding towns like Akron, Youngstown, Lorain, Parma etc. are even bigger cesspools. If Ohio could somehow cordon off with razor wire everything North of Rte 30 & East of Rte 250 and then set fire to the interior, this could be a really great state.

Haha my family is from Northville buddy, I know the Metro Detroit area is nice in general but it has a lot more middle-upper to upper class locations and cities than any city in Ohio which makes sense because of it's vast size.

But those comments about Caldwell are concerning and honestly reading up I cannot believe Whisenhunt went to Tennessee instead, sounds like a job he is doomed to failure to. But the Lions messed up in the first place by not going for Lovie Smith IMO

Caldwell is a bad hire. Sure he took a team to the Superbowl, however when Peyton Manning is your QB how much do you really contribute on offense, or to the win in general?

Solid OC, as we can see with the Ravens taking off last season when he took over, but he's not a leader. This has failure written all over it.

Clearly, you're supposed to sign a coach as quick as possible regardless of how good a fit he would be.

I guess when you're scraping that last bit of oily grunge from the bottom of the barrel it really doesn't matter how fast you hire someone. The pickings weren't great to begin with but now it's really pathetic.

I hate the steelers, but they took their time with their hiring process when it was a forgone conclusion that Whiz was going to get the job. How did that work out for them?

So you want Tomlin? I'm pretty sure about one more year and you can get him...cheap.

Anyway let's not let the deadbeat hijack another thread. This thread is about Detroit.

I am not a fan of the Caldwell hiring. If he can apparently bring discipline hopefully it trickles down to Suh.

This thread was about you trying to throw rocks at Detroit when you live in glass house Cleveburgh and I wasn't going to let you get away with it unscathed. Hijack complete.

Actually the fact that you, said, and classy all posted in this thread means that I reeled you in. Way too easy. I own you.
