Crew finish the regular season on a high! Ended up getting 3rd in the East -- got some major help over the last couple weeks. New England Revolution are their first postseason foe.

Man United had a thrilling draw against Chelsea this weekend. Sheesh. I can't handle things like that.

Tough loss for Columbus in the first leg of their playoff series.

Manchester Derby at 8:30am ET! Cannot wait...hopefully grab some points.

What the hell is going on with Greece? 1 point through 4 qualifying matches, just saw they lost a home match today to the Faroe Islands?!

Not to mention this apparently just happened: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/nov/14/greece-professional-football-suspended

What a disaster of a performance today by the US in a 4-1 loss to Ireland!

They didn't look good at all. Midfield play is garbage. Some of these guys don't need to be on this team.

United has done a nice job of climbing the table. If anyone was able to watch the match against Hull (yeah, I know, it's Hull), we were able to see a much improved United over the previous matches this season.

Best complete game they've played all year. Looks like LvG is settling in. Now lets hope we can get some players back. Too many injuries.

Landycakes and LA win MLS Cup. Career is done.

MLS did release prospective expansion franchises, within first 6 months of 2015 we'll find out more. Sacramento, Las Vegas, and Minnesota all have had meetings and will take the next steps.

Most likely going to the game vs the Dutch in Amsterdam.

That will be sweet.

In MLS news, the crew traded Josh Williams and Bernardo Anor for allocation money

Rumors are that Crew SC are chasing a young Egyptian RB.

Liverpool hosting Basel today. Need 3 points to advance out of UCL group play.

Man City at Roma tomorrow. City, Roma, and CSKA all sitting on 5 points.

Highly unlikely now...down 1-0 and playing a man down! Straight red shown to L'pool substitute 15 minutes into his time on the pitch.

Fuck, I can't believe they are moving forward with this.

How is this going to work with the Euro leagues? Go on a WC break for a month?

I'm still hoping Qatar gets denied and the US gets it.

Maybe if Blatter dies, this will all go away. I am with you, I can't believe all the leagues in Europe would agree to this. Hell, aren't the MLS playoffs during this time too? So, literally they are fucking over every league in the world to host the WC in a country that has no tradition in soccer what so ever.

I'm over being upset about the Qatar decision. They have 7 years to figure out the scheduling.

In present day news, just watched the Madrid/Schalke match from today. Great shot from Marcelo for the 2nd Real goal. Looking forward to Barca @ Man City next week.
