So Arsenal finally gets some hardware. Great game to watch, I didn't think they had it in them after going down so early.
Now on to WC. I can't wait!!
I'm randomly browsing for merchandising. Might get something USA. Some badass jerseys out, really liking Belgium away.

I threw down some WC money in Vegas. Pulling for Spain 6/1 and Netherlands 18/1!!! They opened at 140/1 in Vegas. But, since only USA is being bet really in Vegas (a guess on my part) they have been bet down all the way to 10/1. Stupid Americans lolMulva;1618157 wrote:The US is 160/1 online.

Simply about managing risk. Vegas saw a TON of bets when they were high odds and they cant afford to have a ton of small bets hit like that. Granted, it will never happen and they would be smart to just let the bets stay high and take all the suckers money (like me, had it been 100/1 or higher), but can you imagine if it did hit and thousands upon thousands are cashing in on tickets with 100/1+ odds. Yeah but come on. There is absolutely zero chance that it happens. Vegas knows that. I'm sure they've seen a ton of bets on the WC anyways. Thats fine, but if I am running a sportsbook, Im lowering the odds to match the betting patterns 100% of the time. They don't want "extremes" They want every bet they make to be as close to half and half as it can get. Meaning, if they are looking at 1,000 bets, they want 500 to win, 500 to lose.

I think winning their first game is a must pts wise and confidence wise. If they lose game 1, just stick a fork in them.

They looked solid against Germany, I remember that one.
The last few matches I watched they were rather garbage, but it was a mixed lineup.
Some ok warm up matches coming... Azerbaijan, Nigeria, and Turkey. I want to get excited for the US to do something, but I think we get dumped on. Gotta beat Ghana though.

I think Germany goes 3-0 or 2-0-1 at worst for 7-9 points winning the group. The US must get win and get 3pts against Ghana and score some goals and at worst draw Portugal as Portugal could very easily draw with the US beat Ghana and lose to Germany giving the US and Portugal both 4 points coming down to goal differential.

Im hoping Germany is in our corner and has the group locked up by the 3rd game. It is definitely to our advantage to play them last, but only if the group is already won for them. Maybe they go easy on us since Klinsman is a hero of theirs...

I think that's a pretty likely scenario. of Germany had the group locked up, they Def won't be playing everyone in that game for 90. Could very well benefit us.

Ghana is all that concerns me. Like someone already said, we lose that....we're fucked. It really irks me how that team has our number.
