I love the word IMPACT. Really? Losing one player (not that OSU even had him btw!!) is not "impact". This will not affect OSU to the point of "impact".HighRoller74;1570411 wrote:Yep, I called this the day it was announced, that any shot we had at Thomas was canceled, even though was probably long odds to begin with. But like you said some folks said it wouldn't matter.
This is almost a clear indication, that losing an asst. coach, and great recruiter can impact the current recruiting class.
We will be fine going forward as he was replaced by a very good coach/recruiter, but the immediate impact of losing Vrabel is felt with Thomas.

Could Knox looking around again at UCLA and Texas have anything to do with Brady Taylor?!Midstate01;1570356 wrote:Knox is gonna visit UCLA. I could see him flipping. He absolutely loved it there.

Why? If anything, he should be embracing another lineman committing. On the Oline more than any other position, the sum is greater than the parts, so it stands that Taylor would only make him better. jmo.Scarlet_Buckeye;1570843 wrote:Could Knox looking around again at UCLA and Texas have anything to do with Brady Taylor?!

That's true and a mature response. Would all 17/18 year olds think this way? Or are they short sighted and only concerned with playing time and getting to the league over having a selfless team first attitude. Don't know where Knox falls but we'll see I suppose.vball10set;1570845 wrote:Why? If anything, he should be embracing another lineman committing. I wouldn't think he'd overly concerned with Brady Taylor.
I don't see this as anything more than All Expense paid trip to LA.

Herman doesn't seem too concerned with his latest tweet.

Looks like Mike Mitchell is transferring to be closer to his sick father.

Damn, I was really excited to see this kid play this fall, but I can understand his reasoning...too bad.

Damn...hate to see him go, but don't blame him at all. I imagine this means his brother will also stay close to home too.
If you didn't read the comments, Birm said it's likely that he will take time off from football, no matter where he goes. Must be a terrible situation for his father.

Definitely going to leave the door open for McMillen to make an early impact.

Yeah. It is his throwing arm though. But sounds very, very minor.

I really feel this is a big setback the one aspect of his game that needs the most work is his passing. I don't like to see any time where this can not be improving. I hope he has a fast recovery.wildcats20;1582965 wrote:Braxton undergoing shoulder surgery Friday.

He tweaked something in the Clemson game. I haven't seen any details. It's just a scope. Nothing major at all. He'll be fine.
