I have. It's absolutely brutal, but it's a very good movie.bigdaddy2003;1626357 wrote:Who has watched 12 Years a Slave?

Watched that recently, and yeah, it was uncomfortable. Very well done and good in a way, but weird.iclfan2;1626379 wrote:Saw "her" last night. Real weird.

I enjoyed 12 Years a Slave but I was bored a time or two.

My only complaint about the movie was that I had no idea how much time was passing. It was just going along, going along and then bam, it's been 12 years and he is free.GoPens;1626726 wrote:Agreed with brutal, but very well done. Just downloaded the book.

It's exactly what you'd expect from Niessons.slingshot4ever;1626989 wrote:Has anyone seen the Liam Niesson movie, Non-Stop? I was thinking about getting it on VOD....

Watched "The way way back" with Steve Carrell (He wasn't really a main character). It was pretty good.

One of the more underrated movies of the last 5 years imo. We forget how great of an actor Matt Damon is because of the Bourne movies being all action.

2001: A Space Odyssey
Always put off watching it but finally got around to it the other night. Good movie, I was ready for the long periods of silence, but probably bottom of the list of Kubrick films I've seen (maybe ahead of Full Metal Jacket)

Watched Where the Buffalo Roam last night. I have no idea how I've never seen this yet. Great flick, very similar to Fear and Loathing. Bill Murray is a maniac. 7/10

This. I've watched it at least a half dozen times and still enjoy it...and even though I know it's coming, "now imagine she was white" still gets me every time.bigdaddy2003;1627259 wrote:A Time to Kill. I love that movie.

Edge of tomorrow. Wasnt bad honestly, thought it would be another Tom Cruise abortion of a film, but I was pleasantly surprised 8/10. Helps that I just watched it online and didnt have to pay 10$ or w/e to go se it

On an unrelated note, watcher "Rounders" again last night for the first time in years. Having become a decent poker player since I first watched years ago, they really nailed it (although the whole "read" thing is overrated - you can't read decent players).
