I finally watched The Internship. I laughed a few times but it wasn't anything special.

The Great Race
It's an old movie with Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, and Natalie Wood. Good movie. I'd give it a solid 8/10.

Saw the new Transformers yesterday. It was meh, pretty much the same as all the others. 6/10. Acting was pretty awful, then again I expected it to be with Marky Mark leading the way.

Saw Ender's Game on free HBO last night, and I actually liked it better than Gravity....7/10

Saw "Enemy" with Jake Gyllenhall. Super weird, and not a fan

My buddy wants me to go see the new Planet of the Apes movie, so I am probably gonna watch the 1st one of the new reboot today or tomorrow.
Has anyone seen it, and is it any good? I never got into the old ones or the Marky Mark reboot, but I must admit the previews for the newest installment have my attention.

There was a preview for it during Transformers. It looked pretty intense, but I won't see it. Not that it doesn't look good, just not my cup of tea.

Transformers was hilariously terrible/awesome. So over-the-top, per usual for Michael Bay. But it was fairly entertaining. 6.5/10 for me.

Enjoyed "Rise of the Planet of the Apes". Thought James Franco did a nice job and the Apes were realistic. Much more excited for the next one, now.

If you liked Bad Grandpa as much as I did...Netflix has bonus material that you'll enjoy (it's not great, but it's only 30 minutes and has a few outtakes that will make you LOL)

Just caught Transformers. I was disappointed. It has obvious flaws in the cinematic arena but even entertainment wise it was just too long in some spots. It just drug on and I am a Mark Wahlberg guy but damn. The other Transformers werent that long were they?

lol, they are obviously subpar flicks but as I have stated before I don't need to go see an Oscar winner every time I venture to the movies. I was just thinking this one was going to be more on my level because of Mark Wahlberg and I was honestly more bored at times than I was during the first 3.Mohican00;1632126 wrote:Not sure...I didn't even make it through the first one

I read the book years ago back in HS or college. The movie did an ok job (that's high praise for me, typically I say movies based on books that I have read suck balls).vball10set;1631554 wrote:Saw Ender's Game on free HBO last night, and I actually liked it better than Gravity....7/10
When the movie came out I then found out (didn't know way back when) there was a whole series of books in the Ender Wiggin world. I am currently on the 4th one.
To be honest, the last 3 books in the quartet (4 in the Ender series) are more philosophical and metaphysical in nature rather than space wars like Ender's Game was.
But they are good reads.

I've seen a few reviews and they had high praise (for the new one). I actually liked the reboot with Marky Mark, but apparently the critics didn't.Laley23;1631607 wrote:My buddy wants me to go see the new Planet of the Apes movie, so I am probably gonna watch the 1st one of the new reboot today or tomorrow.
