Very weak argument considering you are lobbying for Bortles.

That was in response to everyone saying he is obviously good because he had good games against the SEC west. There is much more to being ready for the NFL than putting up huge college numbers. Andrew Luck never put up huge numbers, but was considered a can't miss draft pick. How often does a spread QB come into the NFL and be effective? Newton is the closest, and he led one of the worst offenses in the league. I want Bortles because he has the physical ability, but more importantly, he comes from a pro-style offense where he had the responsibility of changing plays at his discretion.

I like Manziel, but I def worry about him running around too much. Same reason I was never on the rg3 train

Settle down there champ. There are a lot of us here who also want Bortles. Can't put all your eggs in one basket though.

Texans up for trading the 1st pick...Browns could get the best QB in the draft if they want it..

Who's the best QB in the draft? Neither Bridgewater or Bortles are guarentees to me. There's a lot of opportunity cost in trading up for one of those guys.

Watkins, Justin Gilbert, Carlos Hyde, and Aaron Murray make us better than Bridgewater and whoever we would take in the third after we give up two firsts and a second to come up 3 spots.

I think Murray may be decent at the next level, but if you take him in the first 3 rounds it's a big mistake. He's a backup QB pick at best...until he shows more. Also, coming off a torn ACL. He may not go until the 5th or 6th.

I don't think you realize just how bad OSU's defense, and secondary, is.

Watkins is good, but unless he's there with our Colts' first rounder, forget about him.

Watkins is a stud either way. But an interesting name that will possibly be there at the colts pick is Marquis Lee. I'd take Lee in a heart beat

This year of his 1,400 yards almost 1,000 was after the catch. Dude is a stud and if none of the QBs wow leading up to the draft I now want him at 4 and a QB with the colts pick or later

That's exactly what I'm worried about with a WR like Watkins. Yards after the catch aren't guarantees in the nfl. It's easy to run all over ACC secondaries (and OSUs). It's not easy to run on nfl secondaries.

I'm a big fan of Watkins, I just don't think he should be a top 5 pick.

Id love to take a WR with our colts pick. Lee next to Gordon would be nice.

I think Watkins can be a good one, but will probably take several years to develop into an NFL WR.
