Shouldn't cut him, but he's gotta be some special kind of stupid to know what he's risking having anyone with weed around him. Especially since he's fighting a ban, for weed. If he keeps getting suspended they won't have to worry about cutting him. What is the penalty going to be after he sits this year and fails the first test he takes next season? The guy just doesn't get it. Not sure what other conclusion you can come to.

Pettine said he wasn't going to micromanage his players off the field. He said he would treat them all like grown men until they do something where they have to change that. I think it's time to change that approach with Gordon. Give him the Dez treatment. Say what you want about Dez, but at least he was smart enough to realize he needs his hand to be held off the field.

I don't think anyone thinks he should be cut because of a ticket, but because he clearly hasn't learned his lesson and is continuing to be an idiot. You currently have a one year ban hovering over you, which the Browns are trying to get reduced, whatever, and you go and surround yourself with people like that? Fuck that. This is spot on. You really would hate to dump a talent like Gordon but if he has a full year of "down time", how many here really think he's going to keep clean?
