He's been the number 1 rated qb for past 2 seasons based on ON THE FIELD results. Dgaf about a bad pro day. Guy can read a defense (jfb can't) has awesome anticipation (jfb doesn't), doesn't make bone head plays (jfb does) doesn't have off the field issues (jfb does) and isn't a midget (jfb is).HighRoller74;1606311 wrote:I think you're the only guy on the TBW train anymore, he seems to have totally died during this process, in the minds of the talking heads anyway.

2 comments. First, a kiss of death if Kiper Jr. has the Browns drafting Manziel. What a buffoon Kiper is tho. 5 months ago he had Football going in the second round. He's an idiot.IggyPride00;1606260 wrote:Kiper's new mock draft has the Browns taking Johnny Football at 4.
It will be pandemonium in this city if Johnny Football is this team's new signal caller this fall.
Kiper just said it on ESPN that not since Bernie has this team had any kind of identity at the position, and bringing in Johhny Football would bring an excitement level to Sundays that an entire generation of Browns fans has never seen.
Draft a WR at 26 and then watch this offense explode in September. We would honestly go from the most boring to one of the most exciting teams in the NFL overnight. We would probably even get on national TV a few times because of the presence of Johnny Football. ESPN would have the trucks outside of Berea all summer.
Just imagine how electric it would be at First Energy Stadium (pun intended) with the Browns playing a nationally televised night game the first time Johnny Football improvises on a broken play and hits Gordon in stride down field for a TD.
I am just hoping Farmer doesn't try and outsmart himself by even considering taking Carr if John Football is on the board. It would be a mutiny in this city, and I would happily take part in it.
Second, People who can't see the value in picking this guy should take up water painting as a hobby...like Commander of Aweful above.
One guy called in the Animal House and said....get this....without Mike Evans, nobody would know who Johnny football is. LMAO I guess Mike Evans was the reason Manziel ran for 1400 yards his freshman season. Or last year's 800 yards. Maybe...just maybe nobody would have heard of Mike Evans without Football getting him the rock the way he did.
The ball is in Farmer's court. He either takes the opportunity to get this right....or the Browns once again will be a pile of shit.

Not that it matters, but Chuck Booms has been in my corner since the end of December. It's Manzel or nobody. On the Animal House today Don Shula couldn't stop raving about J Football. But what the fuck does he know?

#4 pick is an expensive price for a #2 WR in the deepest crop of wrs in the draft over the last 20 yrs. would be the dumbest pick we could make. Trading up for trich all over again.

Probably gonna see 7 WR's go in the first round, now over half will be out of the league in 3 years but still a lot of projected depth.Pick6;1606335 wrote:I just don't see the depth at WR everyone is talking about in this draft. Idk.
These guys all have potential to go in Rd 1.
Watkins
Evans
Beckham Jr
Cooks

Pretty good chance of it happening. Lot of people in the back end of the first rd could use another WR.
Eagles
Chiefs
Chargers
Browns
Saints
Panthers
Seahawks
49ers
Could all use another WR, not saying they will pick one, but they all lack a #2, or #1 in some cases.
And you have to factor in that Evans/Watkins will probably go in the Top 10, could see a run.

I won't even be a dick like Tearnan, and try to sneak the 2 TE's that will probably go in the 1st rd to my tally lol

Count Kiper has him at #33. If he is projected to fall, I would not mind him at #26.like_that;1606358 wrote:Count me as another who is still on the TBW bandwagon. Tbw, bortles, then jff.
