Whenever you go to him with a problem that he needs to solve it's always "well, what would you have done before?" In the situation of being too close with a boss and going out for drinks, I definitely think it could be a problem. I wouldn't want to put myself in a position to say/do something stupid or have that person take something i say wrong. I just hate how passive aggressive they are about everything. I worked(past tense) with a guy who was clearly incompetent and never did any work; and any work he did do was absolute shit. I went to her and told her that his poor performance was dragging the team down and I had to work extra in order to keep everything running smoothly. So she called a meeting with the team and went over what everyone was working on and when she got to the guy she never pressed into him about the clear disparity between the work he was doing vs. the work everyone was doing. She ended up leaving the company and was replaced by a male and within 2 weeks the new supervisor fired the guy.Automatik;1536168 wrote:THIS!!!
