Kansas is only favored by 4.5 over Villanova tonight. That seems low to me.

I'm about to lose the $20 I deposited on Thursday. And then I'll be done for a while.

Yup. Me too. I had a parlay that OSU fucked me on and only had $9 left of my $25 I deposited on Thursday.

I bet that on Eli Manning scoring the first TD of the game tonight. He didn't.

Oh well.

I'm going to bet the rest tonight to see if I can not suck.

That nfl line was insane. I think Seattle blows them out (relative to betting), but I couldn't give 6pts with is what it was earlier.

I took Orlando magic +7 and the Pelicans 7.5 tonight.

Didn't like the nfl or cbk at all today...

I'm thinking about taking the Trail Blazers at +1.5

They're at home and the Pacers have only beat one team with a winning record thus far….

I really want to take the Blazers. The Rose Garden is generally one of the tougher places to play in the League, even when Portland is down. Interesting stat about Indiana beating only one team with a winning record. Hadn't noticed that.

After a grisly start to my betting season last night in college hoops, I have bounced back today with Florida at +4 and currently have the Seahawks at -6. Things are looking ok right now. Not sure I want to push the limits.

I have Portland as well. Wish I wouldn't have seen your post to remind me about that game. Once I get the idea of doing something in my head, I have no willpower to stop from doing it.

Portland cold as ice so far, which is encouraging considering they're only down by 1 as half-time approaches. Come on, Damian. You can do it buddy.

No worries Rec, we got it! I am not a huge NBA guy but damn Lilllard and Aldridge are a hell of an inside out combo. Paul George for Indiana is having a hell of year too.

When I looked at ESPN to check the scores before falling asleep, the first thing I saw on the front page was something like "Paul George nets career high 43" and my heart sank. Haha. Can't believe he played that well and Portland got the W. The Pacers are definitely a top title contender, though. A very nice team.

George went nuts. Hit 5 threes in the final...what...2:30??

Problem is Lillard was just as hot, and had Aldridge nailing fadeaways.

PG had a 3 from the corner, then Reggied it and stole the ball, but missed the next 3. Would've cut the lead to 1 with about 45 seconds to go.

"Reggied it" lol.

I miss the good old days. Virtually never missed a Pacers game from the mid-'90s through mid-'00s. So it was sort of weird rooting against Indiana last night, but, as I've said before, I was more a fan of Reggie and my allegiance sort of faded after he was gone and the NBA got boring to me for a period of time. So while I am not a Pacers fan today, they are definitely fun to watch. George is incredible.

Against my better judgement, I went back to the teaser well tonight. Need Syracuse and Duke to win by 4 and Utah to play within 14 of Boise State. The Utes are hot and their being 10-point underdogs seems really high to me, so I like that pick. But I almost never bet on Duke and am probably just setting myself up for a couple of hours of rage.

Don't teasers give you better odds, but with smaller payouts?

Yep. They allow you to adjust the point spreads in your favor by combining two or more bets. Basically, it's just a way to hedge your bets. And since I am not fond of heart attacks, I tend to like doing that. Obviously, it's somewhat of a risk, though, in a way, since more can go wrong with multiple games. But I like it better than straight parlays.

I'm a big fan of progressive parlays, but SB appears to have gone away from those recently, I've noticed.
