Its all about when the ball was released from his hand, not when it hit ground.
If you land in a jump stop, you can turn and release the ball with a foot starting (still have pivot foot down) and the ball is out just before the pivot foot is picked up. This is what USUALLY happens to all players when they start a dribble. Its second nature, so to speak.
What usually happens when you alter the beginning, like when a player is standing in your way that you didnt see, and what I think happened with Craft is that he came down in a jumpstop. When he went to dribble he then had to alter the ball to the left, which caused him to have to hold onto it slightly longer. The pivot foot was lifted, and essentially, he switched pivot feet. Which, is a travel lol.
But, he lost control anyway, so who cares.

Agreed. Ill guess a 6. B1G isnt that good, imo. But it has enough quality teams to really bolster a resume. No way is OSU an 8, especially with a solid finish like they had.
