If you land in a jump stop, you can turn and release the ball with a foot starting (still have pivot foot down) and the ball is out just before the pivot foot is picked up. This is what USUALLY happens to all players when they start a dribble. Its second nature, so to speak.

What usually happens when you alter the beginning, like when a player is standing in your way that you didnt see, and what I think happened with Craft is that he came down in a jumpstop. When he went to dribble he then had to alter the ball to the left, which caused him to have to hold onto it slightly longer. The pivot foot was lifted, and essentially, he switched pivot feet. Which, is a travel lol.

But, he lost control anyway, so who cares.



Agreed. Ill guess a 6. B1G isnt that good, imo. But it has enough quality teams to really bolster a resume. No way is OSU an 8, especially with a solid finish like they had.

Couldn't watch live today, and despite knowing the outcome, just finished watching on DVR. Couple things stood out to me:
1.Wow, Michigan was lights out shooting the 3 ball. Especially in the 1st half. Extremely impressed OSU was able to come back after taking multiple punches in the gut, but that has been the memo all year..
2. Wow, Lenzelle was bad today. Did he make a 3? I know he didn't make any of the many wide open looks he had.
3. Shannon Scott was terrific. Would love to see him take some of that confidence into the NCAA tourney, and into his senior year next year.
4. Finally, and most importantly, the game was completely changed when an ice cold Craft came off the bench, and decided to become our first offensive option on almost every possession. I love the guy. He has had an incredible career, and he will be greatly missed, but he has to be smarter than that. He sat the bench for a while. Not that he was in any type of a groove before he went to the bench, but dang. I know he hit a big time shot for us last year in the NCAA, but still, I do not think him pulling up for an outside jumper is our best look to end a game.
