Seems KC BBQ is getting a lot of love here, I personally like North Carolina the best. But KC is damn good. Id put Memphis BBQ 3rd and Texas 4th.

NC style is my favorite, for sure. There's no need to slather the meat in sauce.

There was a Skyline in downtown Bowling Green when I was in college, but it didn't last very long before the doors were closed for good. Never went there, but wish I would've at least tried it to see what all the fuss is about. The pictures in this thread look good, at least.

I'd be surprised if others on here haven't been there as well. New Reigel Cafe is an institution in Seneca County and the surrounding Fostoria area.

The only reason I go to Bob Evans is for the Sausage Gravy & Biscuits... But you can't hardly beat Lake Erie Walleye & Yellow Perch either.

Plus there is a little joint in southern Ohio (New Boston maybe) named Hickies (I think) that has some good hamburgers but their fries with gravy will make you loosen your belt a few holes:RpS_drool:.

A lot of great places everywhere but not known for as being a representative food of Ohio.

Try them next time you're in southern Ohio Ironman... foods great & you won't need your belt when you get out of there. I'm in central Ohio but I try to stop by there if I'm in the area.

Oh, by the way..... If you do stop in, tell them its your first time there (hee hee hee)!

This thread reminds me how angry I get when I connect through CVG. They have Gold Star, which I guess satisfies my craving (NC Coney Dogs are simply non-existent lol), but it's no Skyline.
