He was the only one in a situation that wasn't terrible. The other 3 teams were at the very, very bottom of the league when those others guys came aboard. All 3 took decent steps forward in 2014, whereas the Pacers pretty much stayed put.Laley23;1630037 wrote:Paul George has shown to be better than very good. What does a career number have to do with who would currently be the best?Pick6;1630053 wrote:Lol'd. Him and his career 10 and 9
Hes the current 1st team all nba Center,Hes by far the best passing big man in the league, rebounds at a great rate, and is one of the best post defenders if not the best in the league.

Good, because I just laughed at how ignorant you are. I'd say dumb, but we already know that. In this case it's sheer ignorance, because I didn't say he would be, I said you could make an argument, which is precisely what KB, an educated fan, did.

Here's something for your beyond annoying infatuation for advanced stats. According to them, Marcus Smart should be the #1 overall pick and some no name from Switzerland should be #2. LOL. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft2014/story/_/id/11102133/nba-draft-marcus-smart-tops-kevin-pelton-prospect-projection-rankings
I guess lhs and all these other little nerds who take advanced stats as gospel are smarter than the GMs around the league.
Also, being an all-nba center doesn't mean shit in the current state of the NBA. The position is probably currently the weakest it's ever been.

Advanced stats don't work when players are playing different competition, and in the euro case, different freaking leagues lol.Pick6;1630089 wrote:Here's something for your beyond annoying infatuation for advanced stats. Not to mention, when drafting you are projecting how someone will develop. That has to do with a lot more than what they did in their 1 year of college.

Pick is too simple minded for me to argue with him about advanced stats. Nobody intelligent thinks advanced metrics are the be all end all, they're a tool to be considered, one more useful than basic stats.
Only idiots think they're the end all be all and your post, by thinking I am and then railing against it, shows your sheer ignorance. As if your previous post wasn't ignorant enough haha

How about he single handedly carried a depleted Bulls team to a top 5 seed. But those aren't advanced metrics so I can't use that

Kind of off-topic but on-topic because it includes Noah, but has anyone seen the Documentary on Lenny Cooke? Noah produced it. Watched it the other night and I liked it a lot. Followed Cooke a lot when he was a big time recruit/NBA prospect showing his on court battles with Melo and LeBron at All-star camps. Then it continued on to his pro days all over the world and then to the few years before the movie was released (so about '11-'13). I believe now he is going around the country telling his story to HS players.

Hey guis, Brandan Wright has the 8th highest win share in the league and the highest among centers. He has an argument to be an all-pro center!!!.2! Look some guy said so *http://www.mavsmoneyball.com/2013/10/14/4832842/dallas-mavericks-understanding-brandan-wright*

Yeah I understand other people's logic when it comes to ranking him, just think it's an overreaction and some of the people named were a total stretch. I understand he isn't able to play every night but when he is on the floor no question he is easily up there.lhslep134;1630139 wrote:Some of the Dwayne Wade shit was out there dude.
