But, we did not decide to not moderate Browns threads. We decided to let them go for 2 weeks and see where they went. They went to shit and this week is even worse.

Justin has asked us to moderate the threads, and thus this is the one warning.

I am not going to go back and delete posts or anything already made, just no more attacks, trolling, etc on this thread or the rest...
WHy did he decide to moderate it? No one here is complaining...

Laley, if we go back to moderation, then said, tiernan, and co better be thread banned when they troll. If not, you should let us respond appropriately. It would be pretty much bs if they can get away with their typical bullshit.

I honestly don't think the threads have gotten out of control at all. Not sure what all the QQing is about.

We have had (multiple) reports in all 3 weeks now and the general consensus was that the Browns thread was for the Browns fans, but a game thread involves parties outside of just those fans. NFL games routinely involve fans of all teams directly or indirectly.

Either way, we are going to start, so I am just giving you all the heads up. I dont want to discuss it in the thread, so if you still have questions PM myself (or probably better answers Justin).

They will be. Tiernan can attest to me banning him when I see trolling (CFB threads lol).

But also, keep in mind, if you retaliate with rule breaking you will be also. And we might not be on the thread to ban them immediately...

Sounds like there's going to be a QB competition between Hoyer & Campbell if Weeden can't go. Think I might actually prefer Hoyer.

Campbell would provide that mobility that is needed though!!! I cant believe how quickly this season has turned. I pegged the Browns for 7 wins on the low end...

I am sure it was by a select few who hardly even post here. What's new? Justin going back and forth on what he wants to do with this site.

I think you mean Hoyer. Just because Campbell is black doesn't mean he's a runner laley.

Yeah, I would want Hoyer to start.

Campbell is much more of a rusher than either Weeden or Hoyer, but that was just sarcasm to everyone thinking you need a triple option QB to win in the NFL nowadays.

lol. Was actually being serious, and you won't see me reverse jinx the Browns until I predict them to win 27-24 against the Bengals. I thought they would struggle without Gordon the first 2 games but they have been worse than I thought. Figured once Gordon came back they could start to get in a rhythm but doesn't seem like that will happen based on the O-line. But then again, maybe Gordon being back will give Weeden someone he is confident throwing the ball to and will get rid of it a lot earlier than he has been.

The biggest disappointment to me so far, has been the OL. The can't run or pass block, and they were supposed to be a strength. Have we had a run longer than 10 yards? WR's can't get open and when they do can't catch it or don't get the yardage needed. Weeden is slow getting it out, when he does get time. And he obviously can't see the play clock. The lone bright spot on offense has been Cameron. (Bess has been ok) The defense is playing at a good enough level to win, but are dead by the 4th quarter due to being on the field way too long. Also, what I saw of Campbell....give me Hoyer if Weeden can't go.

Taken from Cooper in the OBR Football Forum.

ClevelandStrikesBack
‏ @ ClevStrikesBack
58mBrandon Weeden's +2.0 @ PFF rating for Week 2 ties him for the 6th best rating among QB's. Kaepernick's -5.3 was the worst Rivers +5.2 best.

ClevelandStrikesBack ‏ @ ClevStrikesBack48m

Brandon Weeden's accuracy while under pressure is 59.3% on the year, thats better than Aaron Rodgers (58.3%) and Brady (50%) and Luck (50%)

ClevelandStrikesBack ‏ @ ClevStrikesBack42m

Weeden despite only 6 deep pass attempts has 3 completions which is tied for 8th in the league. His 67% is tied for 2nd.

ClevelandStrikesBack ‏ @ ClevStrikesBack 9mThe # Browns offensive line ranks dead last int he NFL with a 61.2 Pass Blocking Efficiency. They have allowed a league worst 51 pressures.

ClevelandStrikesBack ‏ @ ClevStrikesBack4mThe # Browns 51 pressures allowed is 15 higher than the # Falcons who are 2nd worst with 36 pressures allowed. Tampa Bay has allowed 8.

ClevelandStrikesBack ‏ @ ClevStrikesBack 4m

The # Browns lead the NFL in pressures allowed (51), hurries allowed (32), hits allowed (12) and sacks allowed (7). # BlameWeeden

ClevelandStrikesBack ‏ @ ClevStrikesBack1mGreg Little's 29.6 WR Rating is 80th in the NFL (4th from last), Travis Benjamin's 30.1 is 76th and 5th from last. # Browns # BlameWeeden

ClevelandStrikesBack ‏ @ ClevStrikesBack1m

Of the top-83 receivers in the NFL, Greg Little & Travis Benjamin rank only above Santonio Holmes, Lance Moore & Clyde Gates. # Browns
ClevelandStrikesBack ‏ @ ClevStrikesBack 23m@ RyInCBus Of the 11 sacks allowed by the # Browns 7 were deemed to be due to the offensive line... that's still the worst in the NFL.

^^^^ I knew the OL and recievers were bad but those stats pretty much sum it up. And maybe we've been too hard on Weeden. I don't think any of the QBs on this roster could do what he's done with what he's had to work with.

I just don't get how the line can go from one of the best pass blocking lines in the NFL to the worst. Is Gilkey seriously not ready? He can't do much worse than cousins for fucks sake. What is the status of puss boys lavuao and pinkston?

The biggest disappointment of the OL, and there has been a lot, has been at right tackle. Schwartz was almost unbeatable as a rookie and he can't stop any kind of a speed rush this year.
