In some weird way I feel like they are going to be in this game today and maybe even win it for that reason.Im feeling a Major League Moment coming on!
The front office might want to throw the season, but the players could well band together to try and stick it to Joe Banner and company by not going along with the plan.
Knowing they want them to fail is either going to galvanize this team and get them to play over their head, or it will lead to unwatchable football on a scale the likes of which we haven't seen. I don't think there is going to be a middle ground.

Just read that the Browns are going to pursue Ben Tate in the offseason. Would love it.

Gordon showed flashes as a rookie last year (even having missed a year of football) of being a stud.
Chances of getting a guy with his talent/ceiling in the 2nd/3rd round again (probably what we would get back for him) is not likely.

The problem is the organization can't trust him off the field. One more screw up and he's out for the season. Unless they can lock him in a room when he's not playing, u gotta take what u can get.

Now if they trade Gordon I will be very very very pissed off. Richardson I can understand. But you need weapons for our QB. Hes a big weapon and has shown flashes of being really good. You don't try to off load weapons because Lombardi talked shit about him and he wants to prove his was right, and thats exactly what he is trying to do.

I dont really care what they do this season as long as its fixed by next season.
