"I don't know if guys underestimated the Browns coming in or what the deal was, but we have to take a long look in the mirror and get better," said defensive end Jared Allen, who was held without a sack or a tackle and was credited with one quarterback pressure against Thomas.

I saw on xbox the bottom news scroll "several teams" have called about Joe Thomas. Browns FO said he isn't for sale.

But he played lights out yesterday. Love it. Big game sunday against the Bengals. Win we are 2-2 and at least tied for 2nd in the AFCN

After yesterday's game, you don't trade Gordon. These guys aren't stupid they know how good Gordon is. Guy is going to be a top 10 WR in the league very soon.

It was great to see Hoyer getting rid of the ball on time. The o-line looks a lot better when they don't have to block forever. Thomas was great against Allen.

Per SE's point:

Pro Football Focus ‏@PFF 1h

Big part of Browns pass protecting success yesterday? Brian Hoyer average time to throw 2.4 seconds. Brandon Weeden? 3.1 in first 2 games

Church said he will wait on determination for starter Sunday.

Makes sense. Hoyer had 3 ints, but it was more enjoyable to watch him sling the ball than watch mr. pat pat pat throw.

Yeah, cute Chud but we really know who's starting against the Bengals. He'd be a fool to put Weeden back in there.

I wouldn't trade Gordon, BUT if someone comes in with a big offer, then you do it. He's one mistake from being gone for a year. He's obviously got issues, so it'll be a tough choice for the FO.

3 1st round picks didn't help the vikings.

I believe that is because often times, teams with an abundance of assets (draft picks) tend to go with need over value, hence possibly reaching on players that could be had a later time. If the Browns had 3 first round picks, I would be ecstatic. I like the front office thus far, as I believe they brought in quality coaches with Chud and Horton, and I believe they are on the path to building a team the right way, even if it stinks to wait.
