She's fully capable. But I'm preordering it online. I take care of 100% of all billing, so I have all the login stuff, and she doesn't worry about any of it.

Agreed. She probably doesn't even know her phone options, because her husband won't let her know.

I am pretty anti apple, but I actually considered holding out for an iphone. But my HTC Rezound pretty much died, so I had to get something now...ended up with a moto x. It was pretty cheap ($139) and very snappy. The "ok, google now" command is retarded like Siri, but other than that it is a nice phone. With that being said, naturally...it slipped out of my pocket and the screen cracked on day two of having it...fml

LOL. Probably. But when she was single, she would constantly pay bills late. She has no problem with me dealing with bills.

LOL. She doesn't know her phone options b/c she doesn't care to learn them.

Siri is freaking retarded. Who talks at their phone?

yeah, it is a gimmick, but i could see where it would be handy in certain situations like driving or something where you shouldn't be staring at your phone.

Talking to your phone is gimmicky, but Google Now is pretty awesome. It gives me traffic info and weather whenever I want it and it's super helpful for reminders.

I don't have to say anything to get that information.

Wrong thread. This needs moved to the Google Now thread.

I agree with this article on the price range:

http://techland.time.com/2013/09/10/iphone-5c-c-stands-for-cake/
Why did Apple even bother with the iPhone 5C, instead of just downgrading the current iPhone 5 to mid-range status like it has in previous years?
Basically, and I agree with this, Apple is focusing more on the mid-range phone, b/c less and less people care for the top dollar phones.

Sounds like a lot of husbands are buying their wives the cheapest phones, while they buy themselves the most updated phones.

If my 4s was on the shitter (it's close), I would be getting a 5c. But continue with the joke, because it's incredibly funny. ROTFL!!!!1!!!

I'm getting a Note 3. I preordered it last week. I'm giving my galaxy s3 to my lady to replace her iphone 4s. If she doesn't like the galaxy, she's probably going to pick up the 5s. I'm not an apple guy, but I like playing with the different types of phones.

For you smart people, if I leave my phone charged all the time, never taking it off, it won't weaken the battery to point it doesn't hold a charge as long? That's a myth? I've heard both sides of it and I guess it makes sense the technology was upgraded, but I feel like it still apply's(especially to laptops). Maybe I'm just imagining it.

If I set an alarm or a reminder I just push the button, say wake me up at "*:**" and book alarm set.

Me = 4; wifey-pooh = 4s.

Siri can take a long walk off a short pier. I find a benefit for kids (under 9) and some seasoned-citizen (no real age limit, but rather based on technological saaviness).

I was dead set on getting the 5. But the 5c!?!?!?! Pffft. 5cheap is what it is. Also, I just saw the price of the 5s... 5s (32GB) it is!!!

The shame of it all that I find is that colors seems like a last resort for a line of product that isn't moving forward, technologically speaking.

ps: people talking to their phone... Isn't that te definition of a phone call???????
