I do believe he's wrong. But like everything, it's an opinion (I guess I was being overly defensive against Webfire). But I do believe Baylor should and will jump Stanford.sportswizuhrd;1532453 wrote:Brad Edwards says that with Oregon losing, they will slide back and everyone already in the top 5 will move up. That means Stanford stays ahead of Baylor. Go tell him he is wrong.

If so, they would be the first team to drop in history, If I am not mistaken.ts1227;1532426 wrote:The only thing that would help them is dropping to Division 2 (can't even be 1-AA because their basketball team can't compete at D1 levels either, or draw crowds bigger than about 500)

True, but this is about the level of competition of opposing offense FSU will face the rest of the way. This includes FLA and VT/MIAMI. The way their offense can run and pass, I just don't see anyone being able to match-up with them.

Yea FSU is pretty much a lock for the title game at this point.

Mike London is most likely the most overpaid coach of all time.

Why the fuck is my local ABC station showing Marshall against some chump team and not the FSU game? Stupid, even being local I'd rather watch FSU.

Vanderbilt up 24-3 at Florida.

Muschamp would be 22-13 at Florida with a loss today. Zook was 23-14 at Florida when he was fired.

Muschamp's not showing up at some frat house altercation to support his boys

crazy if Vanderbilt beats Georgia and Florida in the same year. Who would think Missouri might be the SEC east representative in the conference title game?

BTW, Minnesota, yes that is right, with wins over Wisconsin and Michigan St, could end up in the Big Ten Title game.

Oh, I know. And, I doubt Minnesota beats Wisconsin in 2 weeks. Still, kind of nuts.LJ;1532625 wrote:That would be a nightmare for OSU

I don't see Minnesota winning both of the next two. Possibly Wisconsin at home (unlikely but possible), but MSU at MSU (well then again we all know MSU with their late season collapses).
Let's not forget that Minnesota got trounced by Michigan and almost lost to Indiana.
Still, it would actually be good for the Big 10 if Minnesota can become a stronger team every year and get into the top 25 here and there. It would give some needed depth so all the critics can stop talking.

I guess you could try to read that post that way. I was just saying it would be some needed depth (the knock on the conference). Right now it's OSU and Wisconsin leading the charge. Michigan and Nebraska just can't seem to get over the hump with their current coaches. PSU will struggle during their sanctions, but they are doing better than a lot thought they would be. MSU is an enigma and always seems to collapse (hopefully not this season until the title game).SportsAndLady;1532658 wrote:Yeah, the critics will stop talking when Minnesota cracks the top 25
Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota, Iowa and NW are all disappointing. And no one expects anything out of Indiana until Basketball season.
But Minnesota becoming a strong program who can crack the top 25 every year would help with the depth.

This is one of the craziest stats sheet I've seen:
http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/vanderbilt-commodores-florida-gators-201311090067/
183 of total yards of offense and won 34-17. I guess turnovers really do matter.

I agree about Minnesota. I hope that program has turned the corner. There is some great history there, however long ago it was. Also having a campus outdoor stadium is a huge boost. I respect wha they're doing unless they're facing the Buckeyes. I hope Jerry Kill is able to get his health under control since he seems to be a great coach.ptown_trojans_1;1532630 wrote:Oh, I know.
