that is bad.....jesusFly4Fun;1493683 wrote:MSU just punted for their 5th time so far with 12 minutes to go in the second quarter.
Score is 7-0 MSU (Defensive TD off an interception).
It's been that bad so far.
also, NDSU over K-State for (semi) upset of the night

Big Ten Network commentators talking about how the MSU offensive line is failing to live up to the weight and talent advantages and just looking bad against a school they should easily dominate just because of the talent disparity.
Oh this is just too much.
As much as I like Mark Dantonio (loved his defense when he was at OSU) I have to question his decision to bring Bollman in.

It is so much more enjoyable watching Bollman screw someone else up than watching him with the Buckeyes. I don't know what he had done to get and keep the jobs he had had. Obviously Tressel and now Dantonio had no desire to evaluate him at all.

He was OC since 2001 so the NC and Troy Smith era carried him some

To be fair, Michigan State's offense was just as bad last season.

What an odd night.
Michigan St's awful offense
Kansas St is only up 7
Arizona is only up 7
Miami has struggled and only recently opened up.
Texas Tech and SMU is a good game.

ND State has a nearly 9 minute, 80 yard drive to pretty much win it @ Kstate.
24-21 ND State.
Crazy.
I love this game.

NDSU is legit. Apparently opening your season against a 1aa team going for a 3-peat is a bad idea.

How far have a few programs fallen?
I can't remember the last time Southern Miss won a game. Lost their home opener to Texas State.
South Florida CRUSHED by McNeese State, 53-21...

You must have a lousy memory. They went 12-2 a few years agoAzubuike24;1494119 wrote:

Must have missed the satire in the post. You took it a bit too literally. A once very good program has lost 13 in a row.

I think the sad part is that 5/6 are over schools in AQ conferencesAzubuike24;1494121 wrote:6 FCS wins over FBS...

Even funnier is...McNeese State and Towson not only won, but blasted their opponent. I mean McNeese absolutely rolled USF. Talk about a program who really took a dump...

San Diego State is a head scratcher too. They're expected to compete for the Mountain West with Boise and Fresno.
