who the hell knows what is going on. Just read Saban was signing an extension with Bama maybe an hour ago.

Stefan Stevenson ‏@FollowtheFrogs 36m Source close to Texas executive council of regents says Nick Saban will be next Longhorns coach.

I Dont think most people understand that Mack Brown has the best results since Royal. He deserves better than getting fired

He's getting paid $5 million a year to put up those results. Which he hasn't put up in 4 seasons.

I never said he should stay. He just should not get fired
Let it go down as a "retirement". He deserves better than getting fired

Soooo....

@ClayTravisBGID: So @ChipBrownOB says on @FOXSports1 Texas's top three are Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, and Mike Tomlin.

This Chip Brown guy is supposedly the "go to" guy for Texas stuff.

Also this...

@FOXSportsLive: Per @ChipBrownOB, Nick Saban isn't the only big name in play for the #Longhorns. Urban Meyer. Mike Tomlin. Jim Harbaugh. David Shaw.

I won't be surprised if the next Texas Head Coach is the first $10 million a year coach. That alone will make the hire that more interesting.

He's an idiot. He got the whole first round of B1G realignment wrong (guaranteed it was Mizzou) has tied Bob Stoops to multiple jobs and at one point reported Texas to the SEC was a done deal.

Yeah, I don't know anything about him. Just saw multiple people saying he was the guy for Texas stuff.

10 million a year would put ANY coach in the country in play.

I could see Tomlin but not Harbaugh. I think it will be Saban as well though.

Saban to Texas chatter from yesterday.
FootballScoop Staff @footballscoop Follow There is real belief within the profession that Saban will happen. Absolutely fascinating times.

Shouldn't really be a shocker at all. Saban and loyalty aren't two words that have ever gone together. He likes money. And Texas is a better job than Alabama by quite a large margin.

Is Texas really a better program than Alabama? It can't really be about the money since Alabama just offered him $6M a year for the next 7 years. Is Texas really going to drop more than that?

Including Urban, IMO. I have heard others mentioning his name too. I agree with the others that I don't think he leaves OSU, but I do think he would consider other places for the right money.
