I'm optimistic about this year. I see Devin being very special.

FWIW, most websites have Michigan's win total at 8.5 this year.

I think that is a fair and safe prediction based on 8 wins last year. The OL will be young on the interior but they are tough kids. I think that will be the key to the win total.

That's the thing though. Granted they're good, they are young and inexperience usually does not go well up front

If the inner part of the offensive line gets it together and we can actually run the ball, things will come alive. Barnum, Kalis and company have a lot of weight on their shoulders. Lewan will be a stud at the tackle so that really doesn't concern me. I see a balanced attack from Gardner throwing the ball and the rock being carried by Toussaint/Green/Rawls. Everything hinges on the offensive line. Word is the line is going to be better so thats a plus.

The defense will be the strong point, imo. With countess coming off an injury he should help on the corner, gordon at safety has an opportunity to be special as well. Ryan should be back by mid october, but Desmond is very solid. Along with Ben Gedeon, i expect to see him on the field a little bit as well.

If i had to put money on it i'd say 10-2, but i really honestly think that this team has the makings to be perfect.

Sure, but sometimes it does. OSU lost a lot up front on defense this year. Do you think their defense will suck? I doubt you do.

http://www.toledoblade.com/Michigan/2013/08/09/Frank-Beckmann-out-as-Michigan-football-radio-broadcaster-after-2013-season.html
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — This season will be the last for Michigan football radio broadcaster Frank Beckmann.
Athletic director Dave Brandon released a statement today, thanking Beckmann for more than 30 years of service and praising him for "some of the great calls" in the history of Wolverines football.
Beckmann has called the games since 1981, following another longtime broadcaster, Bob Ufer, who died that year. Beckmann wasn't quoted in the statement announcing his retirement.

It will certainly be different attending games without that voice.

Agreed. Webbie, do you think this was his decision, or was his contract just not renewed? The last line of the article had me wondering.
