Rumor has it they will be announcing the Xbox One release date today, possibly very soon....

My current plan:
November 15th -- I have 2 PS4's on preorder from Amazon...Keep 1, sell 1 (I expect them to be selling for $700-$900 on ebay, but I could be wrong...Worst case I return to amazon. So basically getting the PS4 for free if my plan works out.
November 22nd -- Assuming the above went to plan, also get an Xbox One, which I have on preorder from amazon.

I've seen what you are talking about, but with them being sold out on Amazon for a long time (except for a recent bundle that popped up early this week), and sold out in stores, I'm confident we'll be able to get at least $700 on ebay....I think the highest it could possibly go is $1,000-1,100, but I'm pretty sure we'll see $700+.wes_mantooth;1495339 wrote:I have two reserved for that reason as well, but the demand isn't going to be there....at least that is what the numbers and the experts indicate.

Tokyo Game Show starts tomorrow
Hoping to see some more details about the OS for the PS4 and Xbox One.
I think the keynote for PS4 is 9/19 in the morning in Japan, which translates to sometime later tonight EST in the US (I think...)

My kid has no interest in the PS4 that I have reserved, so I am just going to throw the preorders up on ebay and see what happens.

We are just over a month away now from PS4/Xbox One.
As of now I'm sticking with my plan of PS4 for sure, and trying to sell of my 2 extra PS4 preorders to pay for a 'free' Xbox One...Lately I've been debating just forgetting about the Xbox One, but we'll see...
I'm still debating on launch games...I'm thinking Battlefield 4, Killzone, and Watchdogs...Possibly COD, but I haven't like the last 3 very much...

I'd never buy another gaming console. I don't play console games anymore and like to spend my free time chasing tail rather than circle jerking with a bunch of 14 years on COD.

The nice thing is that there have been numerous reports that it is just a 'timed' exclusive to MS, and will be on the PS4 as well...hope that's true..

Watchdogs looks great, Titanfall will probably be a lot of fun online. The Division looks intriguing to me, not a huge Tom Clancy guy when it comes to video games but it looks really good. Ryse looks awesome and different but I may pass on buying it.

I just took the chance that the price is peak now. I just don't think the demand will be there other than launch. And yeah, I have Prime and I just have a regular launch console. I actually have a launch bundle as well, but I am just giving it to a friend for cost.
