What is FIFA like on the PS4?
Worth upgrading from a 3? I'm guessing no, but it's the only game I play really and I still have the fatass OG PS3 and considering an upgrade.

I've given Infamous about 3-4 hours and I think I'm to the point where I'm going to trade it in...I just feel like I'm forcing myself to play it and I'm not having fun with it. Awesome looking game, but it is just too repetitive for me. I should have known because I felt the same way about the other 2 Infamous games.
I have a baby due at the end of the month and there are just other games I'd rather play until the arrival, and once the baby is born, historically I didn't play games much for about 3-4 months with my other 2 kids.
I'll might grab Watch Dogs at the end of the month depending on the reviews, but for now I'll stick with Plants Vs. Zombies and Titanfall. Super Time Force also looks pretty sweet, so I might DL that one, too...

So MLB The Show has apparently crashed the PS Store. Needless to say, this will be the last time I do "Day 1 Digital". Could've picked it up from Wal Mart by now

People are never going to go all digital if they don't fix this kind of stuff...Also, the prices. It's hard to justify paying full price for a digital game in general, but especially when you can get a copy for less on amazon and have a physical copy to trade/sell if you ever need...bases_loaded;1612977 wrote:So MLB The Show has apparently crashed the PS Store. Digital is convenient though...and if you are not a person who sells/trades games.

Steam had issues when it first came out too.McFly1955;1613026 wrote:People are never going to go all digital if they don't fix this kind of stuff
In 2003.
No excuse for issues like that in today's age.
They should do a rolling update. That's what Steam does. You buy the game, and it'll download encrypted pieces of it the weeks before release. At Midnight, it'll decrypt the game and you can play.

I think they are starting the "pre-loading" type of stuff soon, but it is not an option yet, so hopefully they don't jack that up. I believe it starts with "Watchdogs" this monthdlazz;1613030 wrote:Steam had issues when it first came out too.

It was supposedly part of 1.7 but guess they didn't feel like including their star sports game.

I've twice been kicked out of their live chat support queue waiting to ask for a refund.

I was gonna buy it on digital. Glad I didn't. Bought COD that way and it's nice, but sucks you can't trade it in and get anything for it. So ill probably not do it again for now.

Yea the only thing I buy digital is something on steam or expansions to PC games. Buying digital on console just doesn't make sense for me because I usually trade the game in a year or so down the road even if I don't get much its better than having it sit.

that sounds like way too much work. i'd rather just order it online and forget about it until the mailman shows up with it.dlazz;1613030 wrote:Steam had issues when it first came out too.

It's not. You don't have to do anything except buy the game and initiate the download.Glory Days;1613428 wrote:that sounds like way too much work.
When midnight rolls around it unlocks the game and you play.
Easy.

I saw on reddit some people were getting $10 vouchers via email due to the problems with The Show...Hopefully anyone here that had problems gets the $10, or it might be worth asking if you didn't....

Microsoft just announced that they are releasing a "kinect-less" XB1 for $399 in June.
Didn't take long for them to ditch kinect, which will likely leave them in the dust because PS4 went with better specs and now XB1 has inferior specs for the same price as the PS4...wtf.
On a positive note, apps no longer require xbox live (netflix, hulu, etc.), but that's how it should have been all along...

Smart move by Microsoft, listening to the consumer. Will certainly help their buys which are already doing very well.McFly1955;1615860 wrote:Microsoft just announced that they are releasing a "kinect-less" XB1 for $399 in June.

It should have been this way from the beginning. But now they have a few million people who bought into the "we are never selling an xbox one without kinect" stuff they were saying. Given the option, I would not have bought the version with Kinect. It's been a rough time to be an early Xbox One adopter seeing that they had huge price drops and free titanfall and stuff already, and now a version without the $100 kinect.robj55;1615861 wrote:Smart move by Microsoft, listening to the consumer. Don't get me wrong, I love the XB1 and will continue to use it daily as we have for some games and apps, but I just think the last year for them has been an entire mess. PS has stuck with their vision since day 1 and so far it has paid off for them in the sales war.

Yeah I'm sure they are rubbing a lot of consumers the wrong way who already have the Xbox one, but I would have still bought the kinect version as well. PS had a better plan from the beginning and didn't flip flop which has helped them. Also, when it comes to sales, hasn't PS opened in far more countries and territories than XB1? PS has slightly better specs but from my understanding with the cloud XB1 could surpass it.McFly1955;1615883 wrote:It should have been this way from the beginning. Yeah I think PS is in more regions, but also winning in US alone.robj55;1615915 wrote:Yeah I'm sure they are rubbing a lot of consumers the wrong way who already have the Xbox one, but I would have still bought the kinect version as well. I don't totally buy the cloud stuff...I think it can help to some extent (I don't know all the tech details honestly), but from what I understand it will never bring it up to the capabilities of the PS4 power.
Who knows, glad I got both still, but PS seems to the man with the plan at the moment. E3 will be interesting, can't wait for that.

Playstation seems to be lacking majorly in the exclusives department, a lot of people I know simply say that there really isn't anything worth playing. I'm considering getting one in the future if there are exclusives that I want to play.McFly1955;1615922 wrote:Yeah I think PS is in more regions, but also winning in US alone.
