Preordered Madden a couple weeks ago. I've always preferred NCAA over it but that's no longer an option.

I'm picking up Madden tomorrow, excited. I also pre-ordered NHL. Looking for a good fighting game but am used to Socom, so not sure if there are any 3rd person shooters ever coming out again.

I haven't heard anything about a 3rd person shooter forever. Socom on ps4 would be badass though.

dude, you have to get PvZ Garden Warfare. Third person shooter, one of my favorite games of the last few years. Googling it, doesn't look like bf4 has 3rd person other than when you're driving a vehicle.
Did see it says skyrim has a 3rd person view.

I can confirm Skyrim did have both as an option.
I believe the upcoming game "The Division" is 3rd person.
Also, The Last of Us multiplayer is 3rd person, and is a great multiplayer experience if you have PS4/PS3 and haven't tried that.

I think the SOCOM guys are making an independent game for ps4. It was a kick starter and they reached their goal almost immediately. H Hour maybe?

I've only had a chance to play like 1 hour so far, and I've only gone through training exercises (They have a very extensive training setup to go through...). Read here for user impressions, most of what I'm reading online is that it is the best Madden in years...I'm usually a 'wait until it's $30' guy for Madden, but I had a football gaming itch with the season approaching, so I decided to buy it early this time around after skipping last year entirely.

I did the same thing as you McFly, I stopped before game situations I think. I like the ability to switch camera angles on defense...Im using my DLine alot more now then switching out when the play breaks down. Also trying out MyTeam this year since I got 5 free packs off Amazon.
