5 or 6. I love the people I work with and the work is fine but I'd rather be working for myself. I am currently putting together a longterm plan for doing that.

Job right out of college. Location I want to be. Working for who I want to work for. Opportunity to take that guys job in a few years. There's shit at the top that's just fucking stupid, but it doesn't affect me on a day-to-day basis yet.

Probably a 4 for a variety of reasons.

Easily a 2-3 when my manager is in one of his moods.

I forgot to mention the massage chair. And a tanning bed for the ladies (and the 2 guys that use it).

Work with cool people but our management has failed us big time. We are currently trying to be represented by the UAW.

Anywhere from a 2 to a 7, but mostly a 2. My boss is a world class, bipolar prick who is super dumb and essentially useless.

The perks are that I can surf the interwebs all day, I get a decent amount of paid vacation and I actually like the work I do and most of my customers. There is also potential for a partnership down the line, even though I am not sure I would actually be interested.

I like it a lot except it could gain a point or two if it lost the silly union.

One. It's terrible, especially on days like this when it's 90 inside the building and doing fast manual labor combines to make it probably the worst thing ever. UPS is just a bad place honestly, an absolute pressure cooker from the top down which results in angry management because they're constantly being harassed by their bosses to increase production with less workers. The result is a bunch of usually grumpy and overwhelmed group of middle and lower management who aren't the friendliest day to day.

But hey it's union, consistent raises, flexible with school to a degree, best benefits around and tuition assistance so it gets a one

I dont have one and it sucks at what certain people get away with and no one to defend you if you get fired or wrote up. We have no rights and no job security or seniority. My company makes billions every year but come time for a raise and they make up some excuse as to why they couldnt give us anything but yet our insurance will go up along with everything else, so really we lose money every year.
