I love Chicago (big city) with all exciting thing Chicago offers. I know the areas where not to go and the time most dangerous on the subways but that still doesn't account for the potential random danger.
In all my travel to Chicago I’ve had two situations where the potential for aggressive conflict could have happen but was diverted. One situation in the Lakeview area which is a very safe area, until crimialome looking for victims. I had my knife open in my coat pocket, my other knife open in my back pocket prepared to be confronted with the potential of robbery and the fear for my wife safety. I was prepared to take no prisoners. It was diverted when a police cruiser rounded the corner and they took off running. Yes the three individual had just robbed some other couple a few blocks away. Another office question my wife and I, we gave them description. In this situation next time in Chicago both my wife and I will be packing. The odds just when up in favor of the good guys…
It only takes a few armed citizens to act to prevent crime and to make the criminal think about their action. Under estimation the victim could be costly to the criminal. Chicago has a well armed and effect police however out numbered, the criminals are greater in number and also armed. Now in Chicago every citizen is a potential random victim, with a conceal carry citizens no longer are they potential victims but judge, jury of your own security…
