Have made it 7 (week)days so far (of summer vaycay) of running at least a mile per day. As soon as school hits, I plan to heavy lift.

If this article is to defend running, I never said all running is bad. In fact, if you're looking to defend distance running you're defeating your purpose. 800 meters, which is the max this guy is talking about, isn't what I'd call "distance' and it isn't going to eat away muscle. It's the "jogging" for distance (meaning multiple miles) when your cortisol starts to spike, etc. The author is basically repeating most of what I've been saying.Sonofanump;1631819 wrote:This link belongs here...

Started my second week of Ferrall's extreme body shaping 10 Wk Challenge. It is 6 days a week - 3 days Kickboxing and Cardio and 3 Days of band weight lifting. I am down 10 lbs from the first week and already seeing inches lost as well. Needed this from my back surgery in January and my inactivity since.

Also for those that want a good way to get your needed fruits and vegetables in your diet, you need to start taking Juice Plus. It is capsules of whole foods. I don't think the article defends "jogging" at all. His opinion with his evidence supports short distance sprints. I don't disagree with him on that. I however need my endurance cardio and will jog maybe 3-5 miles or bike 20-40 miles once a week. Did you read the UD 2.0 pdf? I'm about halfway through. Not the best read, but not terrible. I'm assuming the discussion regarding actual diet and workouts is towards the end.
