Student managers were the sprinters. They were making their way to the locker room

rushing the court is reserved for the once-in-a-lifetime sort of victories. Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski insists that the court is only to be rushed when Duke wins a championship, whether conference or national. Exceptions can be justified for truly astounding upsets.-per line monitor cheer sheets every duke Carolina game at Cameron

You didn't really need to be on here to understand that a Duke fan saying UNC in the Final Four in 2010 didn't mean the NCAA Final Four; rather the NIT Final Four.

Thanks for clearing that up. I know that K definitely feels strongly about not rushing the court, except for, as you point out, extreme circumstances. And since winning conference championships can only be done at the ACC Tournament, that means never rushing the court at Cameron. Which says a lot about the program.

Yeah. I didn't mean for my comment to sound like I was bashing him. I don't think what he was doing was wrong, it was more of his very dramatic arm waving of "get back"

I got what you meant. And I actually laughed when I read it. I went back and watched K do that motion again and it did remind me tiny bit of the croquet game in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland when the Queen of Hearts randomly starts ordering the offing of people's heads for not agreeing with her. Lol.

K has a love for the media that was evident in his gesturing to them to move back under the goals and off the floor. The only thing missing was his index finger waving in high salute of joe Ovies and the rest of the wral n&o crowd.

@ACCSports: Only folks trying to rush the court at Cameron were the game day administrative folks, who scramble to ... keep folks from rushing the court

Yeah. Like Lehigh.

The non-double dribble call right before P.J. Hairston (I believe it was) made his way to half-court for the last shot before half. If Brian Kersey (the official closest to the play and whom Wojo confronted) could not see that, then he should have had a telescope with him.

Duke playing in College Park tonight for the last time. Fully expect a full-on carnival atmosphere in Comcast, as the fans will literally want blood. After Maryland beat Duke in 2010, 27 Maryland fans were arrested on charges varying from intimidation, assault and injuring three state troopers. One fan challenged a state trooper to a duel with a broken beer bottle. Can you imagine being a Duke fan walking to your car in the dark if Duke wins tonight?

The atmosphere on the court is going to be equally as scary.
