I saw that. About a month and a half after Matthew Thomas decided to honor his NLI at Florida State so he didn't have to sit out a year, the NLI Steering Committee freed Vanderdoes from his NLI after his appeal to them on the matter. It'll be interesting to see if this sets some sort of precedent.
